The Best Price Furniture They did not let me use store credit, and it states in contract that that is my option if the total is not paid off by the date, They said either I can pay in full or they keep my money. I argued with Houston, Texas

Back on July 28th 2009 I went this furniture store and put 500$ down for a set. She said I had a year from the date today to pay, 2 months later I go to the store to make a payment and the store is completely gone! ! I thought then and there it was a scam. 3 months later I was driving down Gessner which is close to where the store is and they were passing out flyers to THE BEST PRICE FURNITURE, so I went to the store and made another 100$ payment. Yesterday which was 7/27/10 I went in to get store credit or to see if they would give me more time since they moved and never contacted me by mail or phone. They said they could not find my paper work!! I was mad but patient because mistakes happen, So i pulled up the statement from my bank and faxed over the info that showed I had paid them. Today I called and went up there and they said I could not use store credit and today is the  last day I can pay in full or they keep my 600$. I said this is not what your contract says. It clearly says in #3. Layaway deposits are non refundable, Customer is eligible for store credit. They said store credit is only applied when your furniture is not in stock or available. I told them that is crazy!! I then asked for manager and the lady responded we do not have managers. I called the other store and spoke with Poleth and she said she is going to try and help me out, all I want is store credit since I know I cannot get my money back. WHATEVER U DO DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON LAY AWAY HERE, THEY MIGHT JUST MOVE BUSINESSES AND NOT SAY ANYTHING OR GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
