The Better Business Bureau I relied on the BBB A- rating given to a Mexican dentist. I later on found out that this dentist had committed insurance fraud in the past and had serve 5 years probation in the US. Since I was not aware of this dentist past, he defrauded me of $10,000. He continues to post false credentials over the Internet and everytime he opens up a new clinic in Mexico he gets A- from the BBB. Arlington Virginia

Prior to the inception of my dental work, I checked out Dr. Jorge Carrasco’s record with the El Paso Better Business Bureau. Dr. Carrasco owned the Dental Care Group in Cd. Juarez, Chih.  He had an A- rating and there were no complaints in his record.  (Exhibit B – BBB report).  The BBB cannot explain the criteria used for this rating and would not include my complaint in his record because he is a Mexican dentist.  Since his phones have been disconnected the BBB has deleted his first practice from their database.  However, the BBB has assigned him another A- for a new practice.  It would have been very helpful had the BBB provided any prospect patients with pertinent information regarding the fact that Dr. Carrasco has committed insurance fraud in the past.  For this crime he served 5 years probation  in the US.  Everything indicated he was a respectable and a very well educated prosthodontist dentist.  He informed me that he had attended many US Colleges and Universities.  However, I learned the hard way he was not a prosthodontist dentist and for that reason he was unable to complete my dental work.  He caused me too many sleepless nights due to serious infections, burns, and made many other mistakes that I am too embarrassed to talk about.    Dr. Carrasco refused to replace broken bridges and used crazy glue one time to glue them back together.  He is a pathological liar, he is constantly posting false credentials on the Internet.  His lies are escalating more and more, he is not a US dentist but claims too have many credentials that require a dentistry degree from the US.  He lures many US patients into his new clinic in Cancun with false US credentials yet he has an A- rating with the BBB.
