We opened a new store and had to finish the floors with a coating, at the same time we built a butcher block counter out of wood. I looked on the internet for a clear coating such as thick bar top coating and found a component called the farm supply who had a coating called Duracoat. I called and spoke to Judy and she assured me that this is what you want,clear,hard non cracking. I purchased 4 gallons of clear and 2 gray with colored chips for the floor. After applying to the counter top and the floor it looked as if urine was on it,yellow and crackling. I called and spoke to Judy and was assured that this was common and in 4 weeks it would clear. After 4 weeks it hadn't and called again and was told give it 6 weeks so I did still no change. We had to open the store and the floor had to be right. I called back and told them about the problem and said just replace the undercoat of gray and chips. I will eat the counter top although memorbila was destroyed that was placed under the coating. I was told that would not help and hung up. I went to the BBB and it was in the hands of their attorney. I never wanted to litigate, just gray undercoating and chips to re-do the floor with no clear. The counter I would sand down and re-coat with another product. Owning a gun store I found that this product is being used on gun barrels as a protector. We have had two customers come in with complaints that the coating was sticky yellow and not dry. To this day I have not been able to resolve this issue as they hear my name when I call and Judy hangs up. Again all I wanted was replacement of the undercoat. The price was 99 dollars a gallon. I fell for the same scam and cant believe it. They are saying they will refund if I send back product, but I dont know about that. Have no reason to trust them. If there was some way to work together on this as it looks like there are a few of us. Oh, now they are out of Babylon, NY and using a website www.durco.com or www.industrialstatesupply.com
