My husband has been with this company off and on for over a year. He left briefly for a job eslsewhere and was not happy so he went back to The Fresh Market. Where their colors started showing. He didn't get his review/raise at the 90 days as they said they would. But after 6 months and several calls he got his measly .25 raise and was told that it be retroactive from the 90 days. Well it took 6 six weeks to get it started but never retroactive as promised by HR Laura. Laura spoke to my husband several times about how she she straighten it out and he would get his money from his 90 day point. NEVER happend. Not to mention that when he originally started he was told he would get a certain hourly rate but they started him .50 lower. They did the same to our son who also never got his raise promised.

As far as the managers at this store they all turn their heads as to whats going on in the meat dept. Several meat cutters have told 3 managers about 1 peticular guy who walks out wiht $100 of meat at night but they won't do nothing about it. This same guy sometimes punches out but only for 30 and stays gone for over an hour. As well as they never know if when this guy goes to lunch if he will return. He walks around the store eating and playing around sticking the guys in the back with extra work. In 2 days this counter helper has 22 hours.....why? because he conveniently forgets to puch out or doesn't for his lunches. All this has been brought to the managers attention several times to no avail.;

Now as far as customers who thought they ordered FRESH TURKEYS.....most of them got Sam's club frozen turkeys.
After being told my husband would get a week vacation. He put in for the 1st or 2nd week of january. Well he got a new job and told the new job he would have to give 2 week notice. So when he did they decided he would no longer get his vacation. He isn't due to start the new job till Jan 15th. He should still get the vacation pay for the past year he has been there. But The Fresh Market again has shown how bad they are as employers and over all customer service.

Bill Bailey and Laura both were told about the theiving going on with this counter help in hours and product, but they choose to screw everyone else out of hard earned money.
