i tried talking to a lawyer about this matter. he told me that after last august there was nothing that could have been done. so not only are we out of $10,000 we are about to be out of our home.
these people are the lowest form of life. they are lower than whale shit at the bottom of the ocean. stay away from this scum of people.

If this is the Mortgage Law Group in Chicago then go right to the lawyers' licenses to practice law. Contact: The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois (800-826-8625). Get their form to file a complaint. They will want copies of anything you have regarding this including emails, letters, envelopes, etc.
You do not need to live in Illinois to do this. Putting their law licenses in jeopardy is very effective.
If you know anyone scammed by a different law firm then file a complaint with their state's Bar Association. I have found that works best. Mortgage Law Group in Chicago stole $4750 from my client relying on her confusion about her mortgage.
The more complaints about Mortgage Law Group the better.
