The Prepper Patch Tony Tangalos I have been lied to, stolen from and defrauded Scottsdale Arizona

I just received a rebuttal from the Fraudster I wrote about 9 (Nine) months ago. 

His name is Tony Tangalos. And not only is he totally out of touch with how he treats people But SINCEI wrote that WARNING about Tony Tangalos I have received two seperate totally unsolicticed complaints/remarks regarding Tony actions towards them.  I am enclosing them as a direct paste from my email. They have not been altered or modified in any way shape or form.

In reply to Mr. Don Westover's (“Don”) (a/k/a “Mr. Don Golden”) false, libelous accusations of my not paying and defrauding him, and all the other lies in his report, I offer the following reply.

Mr. Westover was employed by me as a sales person selling exhibitor booth space for a trade show called PrepperFest Expo from March 2014 through October 2014.  At the beginning of our working relationship Don claimed that he did not have a bank account or a driver’s license, and that he was against all forms of government intrusion in his life.  Don requested I pay him his wages in cash.  I explained to him that I reported all of my income and that I do not pay employees in cash.   

Don then asked me to pay his girlfriend, Nini, on his behalf.  In good faith, I agreed to pay Nini, not knowing the Pandora's Box of problems that would lead to.   During the course of Don’s employment, Nini and Don broke up.  Yet, Don asked that I continue to pay him in her name stating that they had an agreement, which Nini confirmed to me. 

During the course of Don’s employment, I became aware that he was closely associated with a Mr. Gordon Hall, who is a well-known IRS tax cheat, and currently serving a 15-year prison sentence in federal prison for defrauding the IRS.  I learned that Don was living in Gordon Hall’s home on 3546   E. Presidio Circle, Mesa, AZ85213, where we held meetings.  Don also managed Mr. Hall's estate while Mr. Hall was in prison.

In a July 25, 2015 article in The Arizona Republic, it was reported that “Gordon Hall was sentenced last week to an additional 96 months in prison for orchestrating a $93 million tax scam with roots in the sovereign-citizen movement. That's on top of 180 months he's already serving for his involvement in a South   Carolina Ponzi scheme.”  It’s often said, you can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep.  Don’s friend, Gordon Hall, is a convicted felon who used to mentor people on how to defraud the IRS out of paying any taxes.  This may help explain why Don became so angry at my insisting that he report his income; that he tried, so cleverly, to make his tax burden my tax liability by tricking me into paying his girlfriend Nini to avoid his having to report the income himself.  Upon discovering this nefarious Gordon Hall relationship, I became concerned that Don was positioning me to take a financial hit for my not being able to deduct his wages as a business expense.  

In light of his break-up with his girlfriend, and the close Gordon Hall relationship, I asked Don to sign a letter acknowledging that the $12,539 of his wage income that was paid to his girlfriend Nini, was paid on Don’s behalf and that he accepted all federal, state and local income tax liability for this $12,539 of income, before giving Don his final $1,019 paycheck.

Upon learning that I would not release his final check without him signing the letter, Don began a campaign of writing false accusations against my character, and falsely accusing me of refusing to pay him.  Don spoke lies to many others about me, in a failed attempt to get me to pay him without his having to sign the letter accepting financial responsibility for his wages.  Don finally signed the letter accepting financial responsibility for the income paid to Nini on his behalf, and I promptly paid him in full the $1,019 final check.   

Don filed his slanderous, untrue RipOff Report in November 2014, which I only recently discovered in August of 2015.  I felt it necessary to refute Don’s false accusations and reveal the truth and facts about the relationship between Don Westover and myself as his false accusations were impugning my integrity, something I take very seriously.  Don’s false accusations against my integrity are in reality an accurate reflection of his own character flaws.  Don’s false accusations of my dishonesty are in fact a true representation of his dishonesty.  Don’s claim of “everyone says I have a history of not paying people” is simply untrue.  It is worth noting that Don does not list one iota of evidence to prove his false accusations.  Don simply got caught trying to cheat the IRS and make me the patsy.  He became mad as a hornet that he was unable to follow through with his fraudulent IRS deceit, and took his anger out in a disingenuous campaign of attempted character assassination against my integrity. 

As a Christian, I truly forgive Don.  As a leader in the self-reliance movement, I need to correct these lies, lest anyone be deceived into believing them and mistakenly shun me as a result.  Having produced many successful PrepperFest Expo trade shows and broadcasted a radio show on AM 1100 KFNX on prepping for over two years, my well-earned legacy is one of working as a servant, tirelessly and unselfishly helping others prepare for increasingly difficult times ahead.  Don’s legacy is one of close collaboration with convicted tax cheating felons and harshly attacking my integrity for simply insisting that he acknowledge that the wages paid to Nini were his responsibility.  The truth always comes out.  My reply is 100% factual and true.
