The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Herb Trotter during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward The Talaton Group.
The Talaton Group is a consulting firm dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs. With their experience in the fields of business consulting, administration, technology, and business leadership, The Talaton Group is able to customize starting points for potential client's businesses. Additionally, through their professional relationships with various financial institutions nationwide, they are able to provide their clients with the capital they need to start their own businesses.
Leads for The Talaton Group are generated 100% through referral. Herbert Trotter, Senior Vice President of Sales, stated the following in regards to his company, "we've built up a name enough that we can survive without any direct marketing." While they have used marketing avenues in the past, their reputation allows for success on a referral basis. Potential clients can contact the sales department for a free consultation, "we actually consult with the client free of charge. There's no money up front charged." During this initial conversation the sales team explains the entire process of working with The Talaton Group, as well as seeing if the potential client qualifies for their services. Once they have qualified for services, they are sent a detailed agreement to sign off on.
CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION FROM THE TALATON GROUP
During the onsite interview Mr. Trotter was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Trotter expressed that their most common complaint would be miscommunications between the sales department and the client. In order to combat this the sales team at The Talaton Group focuses on making sure the client understand what services they offer, "we train them [sales team] how to be redundant and to completely make sure the client understands...we have three levels of reinforcement so the client doesn't have a miscommunication." This has resulted in effective communication, and clients are particularly satisfied when they are able to speak with Mr. Trotter directly. In addition, any complaint that arises with The Talaton Group is followed up on through the Director of Client Experience.
When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Trotter expressed, "the assertions are 100% false." Not only does Mr. Trotter believe these comments to be false, but he knows who one of the authors of the comments are, "the individual is a known extortionist." In order to assure future clients The Talaton Group has a staff of experts with over 20 years of collective experience in the consultation business.
When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the customer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Trotter stated, "we implemented the Director of Customer Service Experience two years ago...and it instituted a process to deal with clients complaints."

Just wanted to Add to BEWARE of Herb Norris Trotter. Seems like he's at it again. I wish there was an RIP OFF Report BEFORE i attempted to use him. Goes under the Name The Talaton Group states he's base in Raleigh, NC but I believe its just a front location. Used him for tradelines and funding. Took forever on the tradelines which did nothing for my score and never received any funding. Mr. Trotter just stop returning any communications and I havent heard back from him since. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS GUY if you are seeking financial help, U HAVE BEEN WARNED. Very unprofessional and smooth talker will have u in a bind!
