ThermScan Diagnostics Does Not Deliver Houston, Texas and Sisters Oregon

     I contacted ThermScan Diaginostics to take thermographic images for a client in September 2014.  Jennifer Weems, CEO, said she had a special going on for the camera, certification and hands on equine thermographic imaging training.  After reviewing her website and talking to another thermographer that had been certified through her, I purchased the training and camera for $5,795. 

     It took weeks to get access to the online training and several more weeks to receive the training materials (important for successful completion of the online training.)   I was only told after the purchase was made and had received my training materials that she would not order my camera until I had completed my certification course.  The certification course was misrepresented, as well.  The course had a section on theory but concentrated on electrical, structural and mechanical engineering applications for the technology.  There was mere mention of use on animals or humans.  

     I completed my certification in January 2015 and have been asking at least once a week about when I would receive my camera.  When she did respond, she promised shipping information on my camera in “a few days” or on a following day of the week several times 8 weeks.  The equine training promised has consisted of access to a few videos of her doing images and a few documents.  She has not been able to provide any shipping information on the $3,900 thermal imaging camera and has had excuses that she has been traveling, very busy or that she was confused by my texts.  I have contacted my credit card company, the Oregon State Attorney General, and an attorney.
