 I ordered an agility tunnel for my dog from this internet store for $217.54 and paid for it with my debit card on 1/8/13 in full.

When I received the tunnel, it was of poor quality so i returned it at my cost of $32.05 which was the company policy which I had no problem with.  It was sent UPS on 1/22/13 (one day after I spoke to Tanya about returning it.)   After patiently waiting til May of 2013 (which I regret) I called Tanya and told her I had not recieved a refund.  She said she had issued one. When I asked for details such as date or account number she had none. Then she said she would look into it and call me back. I hung up and then realized that she did not have my phone number. When I called back to ask her if she wanted my phone number she hung up on me. I never heard from her again. I rechecked my bank records and had my assisistant double check to make sure I was not missing anything (more wasted money and time). Of course she had not refunded it and has never called me back with the details as she promised.  I waited patiently again and of course no payment. When I called my bank they said it was too late to get a credit back. So I am out almost $250 and she has my tunnel! 

 

I did a search of her company name "juggernaut LLC" and her name (Tanya Smith)and an article came up about a Tanya Smith who was indicted in November 2008 for a scheme to file false refund claims with the IRS using the names of clients of the New York City HRA. I sure hope this is not what she plans to do with my information. Thank goodness she does not have my social security number that I know of. It is possible that this is a different Tanya Smith but I wonder why the search engine produced this article if she is not the same Tanya Smith?

UPDATE TANYA NOW VICTIMIZES A CHARITY

A new report on Ripoffreport.com shows that Tanya has used the same methods to take over $4,000 from a charity, it appears that she knows that if you buy through Paypal or a Debit card and if she can delay you long enough that they will not help you in the dispute.  This is very similar to what happened to me she deflects and delays until you have no recourse.

In my last response to this customer. 

You have failed to prove anything except a great many unsubstantiated charges and accusations. As a customer you have many options to resolve issues. You failed to do so. I have moved on. I suggest that you do the same. It takes a great deal of time and energy to deal with a someone who seems to be somewhat of an unstable individual. I'm not interested in doing so anymore.  I hope that you have a good life and things go better for you in the future.

Again I Ask When and How Did You Notify Me That The Tunnel Was Damaged In Anyway?

Many liers have a method of deflecting and changing the subject. Tanya's use of this method is used extensively in her business conversations with me as well as here on this site. For instance when I told her I had not received payment she said she had sent it but when I asked her for details such as date and account deposited into, she could give none and then said she would call me back and look into it. This was on May 9, 2013.  (Now she says she never said this.)

Liers don't like to give details they give as little information as possible. That is why Tanya is so resistant to answer any of my very reasonable questions. 

Again Tanya please give the date you contacted me to tell me that the tunnel was not in brand new condition (as it was when I mailed it to you). It was unsured for $200.  If I can get your proof that it was damaged I could claim the insurance. How hard is it to show your notification telling me that you were not providing me a refund due to a damaged tunnel. Also why would I mail you a damaged tunnel? You clearly said in your e-mail (that I still have a copy of) that it had to be mailed back in brand new condition or I would not get a refund. So why would I even try to mail it back to you? Please answer these questions directly and not deflect as you have done in the past.

Didn't you just accidentally admit to doing something that would make a person be "vindictive"?  I call it warning others. You can call it what you like Tanya. I am done dealing with you. You are a waste of my time. Dealing with a lier like you is like hitting my head against the wall over and over. It hurts and it gets me no where.

WARNING: PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WOMAN. She is VERY dishonest. I won't get my money back and I don't care about that, but I don't want Tanya to victimize anyone else.

In my years in business, I have many many glowing reports for service, sales and being helpful to clients. Unfortunately some time you run into difficult or dishonest people when you do business. Since we don't get to vet our clients online, we are sometimes at the mercy of people who are not the most stable of individuals. You try and do the best you can, but if they continue to attack and disparage you, you have to accept they won't give up. Sometimes, they go to the extent of filing false reports and personally attacking you, without facts and correct information. You do the  best you can to respond  but at a certain point nothing that is said or done will satisfy them. This is clearly the case in this situation. Vindictiveness and being mean spirited generally do not get you what you want and hopefully this individual will learn this over time.

What do I have to be "vindictive" about if you did not victimize me?  Why would I waste my time warning others about you? 

Please show your proof that you never recieved the tunnel in good condition and your proof that you notifed me of such defect.  You have none. I realize I won't get paid my almost $250 wasted and most of it kept by you. The only reason I am wasting my time and enegy on you is to help others not have to go through the same thing. Do you think I enjoy reliving your victimation of me over and over?  I was going to throw all of my proof of your theft of me away and move on and then i realized that I have a moral obligation to warn others. What moral obligations to you have?

Falsehoods and character

Making false accusations, accusing someone of lying, trying to negatively affect someones business and personal reputation often reflects more poorly on those who are making the accusations than the one who is unjustly accused.  There are times in your life when you just have to move on and let it go. Her information is incorrect and she didn't do her homework. Ms Jones seems to be somewhat vindictive in her report and her rebuttal with her responses. Instead of going with the facts, she has dug up false, misleading rumors and information that are in no way connected to me and my business. She obviously does not consider making sure her information in accurate before putting it out in the universe to be a priority. That to me, says it all.  If she were really sorry about making a false accusation she wouldn't have repeated it.  It truly says something and is reflective of the character of someone when they are willing to tarnish and publish unsubstantiated rumors. It says it all.

Ms Jones is one of those people where you can't win. Her vendetta towards me is now verging on the personal and she is attempting to ruin my reputation and the reputation of my business.  Her recollection of events is very skewed and inaccurate.  She has accused me stealing her money, of hanging up on her and not responding to her calls. I have checked into her allegations and found them to be false and baseless.

She did get a tunnel, she did call and say she was returning it, She did tell me she returned it. From that point on, our versions are dramatically different.  I told her that if shipping received it back in the condition that it needed to be in for resale, that at that point, I issue a refund. I did not receive that notification. 

She has also accused me of being this other Person who was apparently indicted for filing false claims with the IRS. With the last name Smith, there are bound to be numerous people with the same name as myself.  Putting it out there in an attempt to ruin my reputation and my business reputation is despicable at best and I won't get into at worst.  However it does show the character of the individual making the accusations. 

Since I also subscribe to Google, I have often found others with the same name as myself.  I could just as easily been the police officer in FL. with the same name as myself. The fact she is personally attacking me shows that her complaints and comments are baseless and she is scrambling to find things to attack me with.

I have found in over 7 years of business, that sometimes you just can't win with some people, and you just have to move on.  This is one of those cases.

Per Tanya Smith's rebuttal. "I told her that if shipping recieved it back in the condition that it needed to be in for resale, that at that point, I issue a refund, I did not receive that notification." This statement is flatly and without a doubt a lie.  I was told by Tanya on 5/9/13 that she had already issued my refund in full.  She never once mentioned anything about the shipment not being it the condition that it needed to be to resell. I have proof from UPS that it was received by her shipping department and the tunnel shipment was INSURED. The tunnel was in exactly the same condition when I received as it was  when I mailed it back. I opened it and saw it was not worth over $200 and mailed in back, it was not used even once.  If there was an issue with her not getting it, I could have made a claim with UPS but this was never mentioned. Insead she said that she had issued a refund already and then could provide no details about such a payment being made. She is lying. I wonder what else she is lying about? I was regretting posting the information about the tax fraud as it was clearly not proven to be this Tanya Smith, but I could not delete it. Now I am wondering again if that was in fact the one and same Tanya Smith that lies and steals from her customers/victims. 

Don't worry Tanya about me ruining your reputation. You are doing a great job of that all on your own.

Tanya at Things 4 Your Dog is the most difficult and dishonest person I have ever had to deal with in business. I think her site should be shut down. I reported her to the FBI internet fraud division. I am sorry that she also has treated you this way. I hope you never mailed back your vest at your cost, as then she will just keep your vest and your money like she did to me. Be thankfiul that at least she did not flat out steal $215 from you (like she did fro me.)
