Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I was referred to this dentist so I went for an estimate. I first showed him my insurance card and the advised me that they took my insurance.
Upon returning for the work to be done they later advised me that they did not take my insurance and would charge me in full. I was upset and told them that they were a RIP OFF.
They later reported me to the credit bureau and this so call outstanding bill remaines.
I would advise all person(s) who visits him to BEWARE, he is a fast talker and will RIP YOU OFF.

I did contact my insurance company and they simply told me that they could not help me. BUT, during my first visit Thomas R Lane advised me that he would handle this situation. If I thought that I had to pay in full with full coverage insurance I would have simply walked out. Again, they lead me to believe that they would handle the situation. Funny said, have your dukes up and protect your self because there alot of RIP OFFS out there, no matter what profession it is....

Did you file the insurance claim with your carrier to be reimbursed?
If your carrier requires you to use an in-network provider, did you check with them first to make sure this dentist was on thier preferred provider list?
In my situation, my primary dentist is not on the preferred provider list for my insurance coverage, but I choose not to change dentists. I turn in my dental bills to my provider and am reimbursed at 70% of the total, which I pay upfront.
