David Thorson and Fritz Mueller operate ThorWorks in Sandusky Ohio. They sell various roofing products to major home improvement chains including Menards under the label of SealBest and a new product named Duck Coat.
The SealBest simply does not work and will not stand up to even one year of ware. Far from the 15 year and twenty year as advertised. The company is well aware of the defective roof coating but refused to replace the bad roof coating with a product that will stay applied.
Jet Coat of Columbus is owned by this company and makes the Duck Coat for Menards. Consumers must be aware that these roof coatings are being sold and they simply are ripping off the end users because they will not last.
SealBest is aware of this problem and tried to cover it up by changing thier 7 year product to 10 years and the 10 to 15 years by changing the labels.
