Tint World performed the following work on my vehicle for which I paid you a grand total of $2,387.80.

  • Detail: $259.99 – Results = OK
  • Electrical: $450.00 – Results = REWORK

    • Spent an additional $209.71 at the Infiniti Dealer due to engine overheatig as a result of a missing Radiator Fan Relay. No one was under my hood but Tint World. No one did any electrical work but Tint World.

  • Exhaust: $270.00 – Results = REWORK

    • Spent an additional $91.59 at a ‘real’ muffler shop to have the entire exhaust removed and reinstalled. Every joint leaked and almost the entire system was pinned against the floorboard, frame or hitch.

      • I was going to pay an addition $700-800 for sound proofing due to the vibration and noise level inside the vehicle after I left Tint World until I had it inspected by a certified Nissan Master Mechanic.

      • The muffler shop that did the rework would have charged $75 dollars to install the Borla kit to start with!

  • Tint Film: $149.00 – Results = REWORK

    • Spent an additional $125 for a ‘real’ tint shop to install quality tint that didn’t have a brown haze with an almost matrix pattern in the sun.

      • As I found out this is because apparently ‘TINT’ World used inferior materials (cheap – seconds) not close to the quality advertised or paid for!

      • The quality tint I had put in looks clear – like glass – imagine that!

  • Brakes: $540.00 – Results = OK

    •  I could have had this work done by a reputable brake shop closer to my home for exactly ½ or $270.00. But I trust that Tint World would do quality work across all the work I was having done!

  • Mass Air Sensor(s): $383.99  - Results = DECEPTION

    • PAID FOR PARTS AND LABOR (+ Shop Supplies % & Taxes) - HOWERE PARTS WERE NOT INSTALLED

    • IF I HADN’T CHECKED TINT WORLD WOULD HAVE POCKETED $214.99 + ‘SHOP SUPPLY’ + ‘TAXES’

    • WHEN I CALLED TINT WORLD THE OWNER HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THEY WERE INSTALLED & THEN FOUND OUT THEY WEREN’T. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO CHARGED ME X2 THE ORGINAL QUOTED PRICE FOR A MISTAKE HE MADE IN YOUR QUOTE & BILLING STATING IT WAS ONLY FOR ONE NOT TWO.

Bottom-line is that in addition to having to deal with the owners condescending attitude,  I spent almost an additional $900.00 to get the work done right after leaving Tint World.

I didn’t take it back to have things resolved because I wouldn’t let Tint World put air in my tires at this point.

I questioned the owers integrity (a Veteran that nakes sure you know he is)? Then gave him a final chance to do the right thing but he never replied to a email with the same content as this review.

STAY AWAY FROM TINT WORLD IN JACKSONVILLE!

Tint World Owner Makes Good

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, January 19, 2016

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY EARLIER POSTING:

AFTER WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE OWNER OF TINT WORLD HE TOOK RESPONSIBILITY AND RECOGNIZED MISTAKES WERE MADE. BY DOING SO HE DEMONSTRATED A LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM AND INTEGRETY. HE HAS WILLINGLY NEGOTIATED AND MADE AN OFFER FOR REIMBUSEMENT TO ENSURE I AM SATISFIED AS A CUSTOMER OF TINT WORLD.

THE OWNERS RESPONSES TO MY ISSUES AND HIS OFFERS ARE STATE BELOW IN THE BOLD/UNDERLINED TEXT NEXT TO EACH ISSUE IDENTIFIED AS (TW =).

  • Detail: $259.99 – Results = Ok – (TW = EXCELLENT)

  • Electrical: $450.00 – Results = Rework - (TW= WE HAVE NO WAY TO CONFIRM THIS HOWEVER WE WILL REIMBURSE THE $209.71 TO THE CUSTOMER)

      • Spent an additional $209.71 at the Infiniti Dealer due to engine overheating as a result of a missing Radiator Fan Relay. No one was under my hood but Tint World. No one did any electrical work but Tint World.

  • Exhaust: $270.00 – Results = Rework - (TW = WE APOLOGIZE THAT THE WORK WAS NOT PERFORMED TO YOUR SATISFACTION AND WILL REIMBURSE YOU THE $91.59 YOU HAD TO SPEND AT ANOTHER SHOP.)

  • Tint Film: $149.00 – Results = Rework - (TW - WE ORIGINALLY CHARGED YOU $50 TO REMOVE THE OLD FILM AND $100 TO RETINT THE WINDOWS.  THE TINT THAT WAS REMOVED WAS TINTED BY TINT WORLD JACKSONVILLE IN NOV 2011. TINT WORLD USES A HIGH QUALITY SUNTEK PRODUCTs WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY AND HAS FOR MANY YEARS, HOWEVER WHEN YOU BROUGHT YOUR VEHICLE IN YOU STATED YOU WANTED THEM DARKER AND ILLEGAL WHICH WE OBLIGED.  YOUR RE-TINT WAS DONE WITH THE SAME BRAND AND SERIES AS THE ORIGINAL.  THE TINT WAS INSTALLED PROPERLY AND PROFESSIONALLY THEREFORE A REFUND WOULD NOT BE APPLICABLE IN THIS CASE.)

  • Mass Air Sensor(s): $383.99  - Results = Deception - TW = THIS SITUATION WAS EXTREMELY UNFORTUNATE AND WAS NEVER MY INTENTION TO BE DECEPTIVE. I DID PROMPTLY REMEDY THE ISSUE UPON BEING DISCOVERED. WITHIN THE REMEDY OF THE SITUATION, WE ASLO DISCOVERED THAT YOU WERE ONLY CHARGED FOR ONE SENSOR ON YOUR VEHICLE. WE MUTUALLY DISCUSSED AND AGREED THAT YOU WOULD COVER THE ADDITIONAL COST OF THE SECOND REQUIRED SENSOR AND I WOULD COVER THE LABOR AS I MADE AN ERROR IN THIS. I DO SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR THE ERROR ON MY PART AND I DID EVERYTHING WITHIN MY POWER TO REMEDY THIS. I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT YOU FEEL THIS SITUATION WAS DECEPTIVE BUT I PROMISE YOU THAT I GO OUT OF MY WAY TO RUN MY BUSINESS ETHICALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. THIS WAS AN ACCIDENT ON OUR PART AND WE DO RECOGNIZE THAT HENCE OUR WILLINGNESS TO INSTALL THE SECOND SENSOR AT OUR LABOR EXPENSE RATHER THAN YOURS.)

      • PAID FOR PARTS AND LABOR (+ Shop Supplies % & Taxes) - HOWERE PARTS WERE NOT INSTALLED

      • IF I HADN’T CHECKED TINT WORLD WOULD HAVE POCKETED $214.99 + ‘SHOP SUPPLY’ + ‘TAXES’

(TW - OWNERS REPLY:AGAIN, THIS WAS AN UNFORTUANTE SET OF INCIDENTS THAT TRANSPIRED WITH YOUR VEHICLE BUT I DO RUN MY BUSINESS WITH INTEGRITY. MISTAKES DO HAPPEN IN BUISNESS BUT I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT ALL MISTAKES CAN BE FIXED. I AM A MAN OF MY WORD AND I DO DESIRE TO MAKE THIS SITUATION RIGHT FOR YOU AS THE CUSTOMER.)

THIS MATTER IS NO RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION.
