I encourage ANYONE who has done any business with this company to write to the BBB. Right now this company has an A+ rating with them and the BBB has no idea how they sell their equipment. Everything you've read on this site about the "demo, trade show, we have to get rid of it, the boss won't pay for shipping..." that's all true and unfortunately we fell into the trap. My husband was approached in a parking lot and fell victim to their dishonest sales pitch. We ended paying $4612.50 for all the equipment they said was worth $18,000. My husband has picked up a second job to help out with the slow times at work and medical bills for our 5 month old daughter and he thought he could sell all these items and make enough money to stay home with his family a little more. Come to find out the equipment is worth about $2000 for the 5 pieces of equipment they try to sell you. We did get a full refund and they took their equipment back after I told the man on the phone at their headquarters (Russ) that I contacted the police (whom by the way said he sees these guys all over town all the time....sounds like they have a lot of demos and trade shows up here....), the news station, and the BBB. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write to the BBB
(((Link Redacted)))

This is the BBB link for the branch closest to this company. The lady I talked to said they haven't had any complaints and they would look for a pattern like I reported to them. We need to do what we can to get this company to stop scamming people!!! It's a HORRIBLE business practice ESPECIALLY taking advantage of people when the economy is the way it is right now!

A Titanic White Fight: Who Wants To Be The Triumphant One?

AUTHOR: This Is The Truth - (USA)

Hmm This indeed a fight of such proportions that can be correctly labelled as such.  Two titanic opinions over a Titan!  One says the Titan is trouble whilst the other says the Titan is terrific.  One is lying and one is telling the truth!

In this Titanic match over such a Titan it can always be noted that one will indeed end up in trouble for lying whilst the other will indeed end up triumphant for telling the Truth!

So the question must be asked:  Who believes they are more triumphant with their thoughts about what the truth actually is?  Because in the end such a person goes back home being the truly true triumphant Titan!

...Besides did you see the superhot white women at their site events?-They must be truly doing something really Titanic to get those!  No wonder I find white women like these so desirable, delectable and of course very , very delicious!

titan generator did not work right

AUTHOR: wood - (United States of America)

I think so to that the generators are junk cause i got one that was bout new and it only put out power for bout couple of hrs and then quit putting out power. Not only that i had it hooked up to a trailer i serve food out of and when just the lights the lights were on they would be real dim and not full brightness until i would start pulling more watts from it and then they would brightin up. but i then tried the microwave and it would turn on and run but would not heat and i tried another microwave it did the same thing and they work in my house power. thats why i dont like them and i was wondering if anyone could tell me why it was doing that. it was an 8000 model. i went and got one at lowes and it works great with all the stuff. i wont ever buy another one or tell any one to.

Titan Generators - American Fab

AUTHOR: Dustpile - (Canada)

They claim to be made in the USA.  Use the name "TITAN" "INDUSTRIAL" and "American FAB" but the only FABrication they do is lies.

There is no patent registered for any of their so called MADE IN THE USA engines. In fact once you receive it and inspect the parts you will find it is all from China.

Next search the EPA and you can also confirm there that they have no EPA that it is in fact made in China and other company holds the certificate that by the way is expired!!!

These generators are just one of many out there that are copies of already successful brands like Aurora Generators who buy the way have lots of additional information on this company and many others who are nothing but cheap china junk importers.

I used to own a Titan generator and it was horrible.  They could not supply parts and gave me a hard time about warranty.  Their website actually inflates the price by some 3-4 times and they liquidate them in places like Craigs List and eBay for a fraction of the price. I wish I knew this before I purchased it.  Thanks to Aurora Generators I was able to get parts and get it working again.

Titan Industrial is not a rip off

AUTHOR: Consi - (U.S.A.)

I just wanted to let you all know that Titan Industrial is not a rip off I worked for them for years and you can not get all of that equipment for that cheap. They have always treated all of their customers right and their employees. The only reason why I am not there is because I wanted to be at home with my family. This is a very legit company and their ratings with the BBB shows that. It is like that person said if you don't have the money to get it then don't spend it.

Who's at the controls ?

AUTHOR: Raul - (U.S.A.)

Interesting... do you notice how most of these so called "rebuttals", "Titan Rocks" and other positive, but bogus reports seem to come out of Greenville, SC? Funny it would be so close to the factory? Perhaps workers who want to keep a job or relatives? You make the call, but the writing pattern and style are the same in most of the responses intended to refute or off-set the negative press.

As a side note, on the surface, we understand American FAB may be trying to resolve some of the field sales practices of their "independent distributors". We'll see - the level of future complaints will tell the tale. Personally, I'd not deal with anyone other than an American FAB employee and absolutely not some "distributor" that has adopted deceptive methods. Before you purchase, comparative shop and don't count on trying to resale the stuff you don't need - A "Trash Pump"?

Let's hope AF does clean it up and harness the folks playing the games. In any event, always ask to see LOCAL identification and a business license if required in your city - which is normally the case.

Oh Puleease

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

Wow! Your husband bought a 7500 watt deisel generator, an 8500 watt gas generator, a gas powered air compressor, a 3 inch trash pump and a gas powered pressure washer for 4600.00 dollars, delivered to his front door, with warranties? What a great deal! I paid 5000.00 for the same package and have been very pleased with the purchase and quality of the product. Of course, I didn't make the purchase with the intent of tripling my investment as your husband appears to have done...I simply don't have the marketing genious to pull that off. Apparently neither does your husband. How much effort did he put into reselling the product? Did he expect there to be no competition? Could he not have settled for something less than ten thousand dollars...a 5400.00 dollar profit? Oh, and my WW Grainger Catalogue lists a 6500 watt Honda diesel generator for 2699.00. Apparently Honda doesn't manufacture a 7500 watt deisel...but they also don't offer to toss in an 8500 watt gas generator, air compressor, trash pump and power washer along with the purchase of the deisel generator and they don't deliver to your house or business. Sounds to me like your husband made a good decision and deal in his purchase of these Titan products for 4600.00 dollars but he, like millions of Americans do everyday, rolled the dice, took the risk, and made this purchase in hopes of realizing a profit on his investment. Unfortunately, when the going got tough on the marketing end of his venture he threw in the towel at the first sign of resistance and, since he went into this venture with too high expectations of a profit margin, and lack of product marketing experience, fell over his panteloons. But then you both really demonstrate juvenile immaturity in blaming this experience on Titan Industrial products or wholesale dealers for not making you rich overnite.

The way you do your business

AUTHOR: Bethany - (U.S.A.)

There are reports (on this site in fact) of people who have interviewed to work at your company who have said that they are instructed to lie to the consumers in order to sell the merchandise in the back of your trucks. The police officer I talked to in Fort Wayne said he sees you guys all the time at gas stations trying to sell your things to people (which completely blows your story out of the water). You might have "demos" around here....if that's what you consider starting up the generator for the people you try to rip off. I'm sure the company is legitimate HOWEVER if it were such good quality why is it that you have to lie to people to try and sell it. My husband was told that all the equipment was worth $18,000, that's why he thought he could afford to buy it. He thought he'd be making at least $10,000 back. After he made the listings for Craigslist and Ebay he realized that people weren't paying EVEN CLOSE to what YOU say it's worth. I do realize on Ebay and Craigslist that you won't usually get full price for anything, however, you would at least think you'd get somewhere close to that price if it truly were worth that much (which it's not). We also compared your models with the equivalent models that Honda makes (Industrial grade) and Honda's are about 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of yours...and Honda has an EXCELLENT reputation and quality. I HIGHLY doubt that your products are worth that much more. The Indiana Attorney General's Office is looking into your company as I type this so we'll see what they find.

That is such nonsense!!!

AUTHOR: Ice Man - (U.S.A.)

Have you ever been to one of their shows? They have them all across the United States! Here is another question for you..... Do you realize how much it would cost the company to ship all of that stuff back? ( I BET NOT).

Titan has been around for years mam. I have been to a few of there industrial shows. It's not one of those cheap fairground junk shows. They take the time for a more one on one approach. The representitives are really helpful actually.

as far as the equipment being worth only $2,000.00?????? That is so crazy for you to say! You might be able to come close to spending that for some "JUNK EQUIPMENT"! You can't get a diesel generator like the one that they have for under $3000.00 USED! If you go on their website you will pay full price for all of the equipment they sell.

The company is actually doing all of us a favor . They discount what is left over to the people in that specific area they are in.
I think the warranty that they give you is totally tranferable. That way you can make money on it if you wanted to. (NO OTHER COMPANY DOES THAT ....NONE!!)

The sad part is your husband had a GREAT deal! $4,612.50?? That doesn't even pay for one of the generators they sell.

The BBB as you put it has no problem with American fab. I called myself. They are very respected In the carolinas mam. Bet you didn't know they had a race team either.
It's really a sad thing when you go off the handle for no reason. Somebody is trying to do the economy some good for once. Then you have people that don't even know the facts before they start there Drama.

I personally Own the following from Titan Industrial::::
7500 Diesel generator with a remote control!!!
Gas air compressor ( it is mounted on my truck) Love it!
3500w gas generator
9000es Gas generator
It's funny, Some years I set and hope they come back around. For most people A good bargin is always a good thing.
I always say....."If you can't afford it don't buy it"

Titan Rocks!!!!
