I am with the others that I have read, these poeple are loan sharks.  Borrowed 5000 from them and I am still paying on it, will pay on it for the remainder of me owning my car, if I want to keep it.   Payment of $496.87 per month, and NONE of that goes to the principal.  I was explained that this was a 18 month loan and I would have it paid off in 18 months.  I will not have it paid off unless I pay way more then my payment.  I am a signle mother, I CANNOT pay this.  Absolutely ridiculous that these kinds of loan companies are allowed to operate.

Its called "AMORTIZATION".  The earlier you are into the monthly repayment schedule, the more interest is paid from each payment.  If the contract says you will pay it off in 18 months and you make every payment on time, then you'll pay it off in 18 months!  There is nothing illegal, unethical or immoral about this...it happens everyday.  However, the time to object to the interest rate and other terms is BEFORE you agree to those terms.  Bottom line here is since you are an unwed mother with no money and no/bad credit, perhaps now's the time to evaluate your life and change direction in a hurry.

If they are abiding by the terms of the WRITTEN agreement YOU signed, then you are stuck with the consequences.

Is your loan balance still exactly the same as the day you borrowed the money?
