Last August 2009 Bill Glatzel came to my house after I called him for the free consultation. He immediately explained that he is the "specialized" trainer for TLC K9 Academy when handling the issues my dog had (separation anxiety), and sold me on their services. I signed the "No Refund" contract (never on the contract did it say "No Cancellation").

I wasn't going through the best time financially and after sleeping on it a few days I called to cancel the services about a week later deciding that it just wasn't the right time to spend that kind of money. They hadnt charged my card at that point for services, and the woman who answered the phone asked me if I would want to start up in the new year. I said not at this time, but I would call them if I was interested in the services in the future. She said OK and from what I knew the services were canceled.

It is now January 4, 2010 and imagine my surprise when 5 months later my card is charged for $495.00. I immediately called to let them know they made a mistake and that I canceled 5 months prior. A nice lady at the time named Juanita answered the phone and I told her the situation and she said she would need to speak to the owner (William Glatzel) and call me back. I thought okay that's fine, I can wait for them to fix this because they must know it was a mistake and their would be no issues with them refunding my money.

The next day came around and I didn't receive a call back, so at the end of the day I called them and spoke again with Juanita. She informed me that after speaking to the owner they won't refund my money because I signed the no refund contract. I told her I did sign the contract, but called and canceled the services before my card was charged and no where on the contract does it state no cancellations. I asked her how she thinks it's okay to just take $495.00 from someone after having no contact what so ever for 5 months? She just kept saying "Well, you're the one who signed the contract." I told her that I was going to contact my bank and file a dispute and she said, "That's fine, we will just fax the bank the contract you signed." At that time I asked to speak with the owner, William Glatzel. I asked for his phone number and she said she won't give that information to me. I asked her when can she commit to having him call me. She said "by noon the next day."

Noon came around and I never received a call from Bill Glatzel, but did get a call from Juanita telling me that she can't get a hold of Bill Glatzel, but she will tell him that I need to speak with him and have him call me. That night I noticed the magnet that Bill left on my fridge from when he came out last August. It had his cellphone number on it. Since then I have left him one message everyday. I am on my 4th message today and still have not received a call back.

The craziest thing is even if it was an honest mistake on their end and they thought I didn't cancel, one would think they would at least have called after charging my card to set up service! Its now been 8 days since they charged my card and I still have not received any call on wanting to set up an appointment. Bottom line - This company is a scam! They have more negative reports on the BBB and this website then they do positive ones (and Im kicking myself for not doing my own due diligence!). I feel like an idiot for even signing up with them in the first place. All I can say is do your research and don't be alarmed if they take your money but don't give you the service you paid for.

I plan on taking this company to small claims court as well as contacting the local New Stations and the BBB. I will let you know the outcome.

This is a lie.  All clients have a lifetime training guarantee.  The Better Business Bureau and the courts are places to file complaints so that ALL sides can be heard.  We have an "A" rating with the "BBB"  We trained over 6,400 dogs in the last 6 years.  We have had a total of 6 complaints, 4 with the "BBB"  all resolved.  THAT IS A 99.999% SATISFACTION RATING.  ANY COMPANY WOULD BE PROUD.

We now Offer a Money Back Guarantee.  No other dog training company offers a money back guarantee.  THE POSTS ON THIS SITE AGAINST THIS COMPANY ARE LIES, BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIGHT IN COURT.  WE PLAN TO FILE A DEFAMATION LAWSUIT AGAINST RIPOFFREPORT AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE POSTED FALSE STATEMENTS.

RIP OFF REPORT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS A SCAM.  SEE THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT RIP OFF REPORT I WILL POST THE LINK HERE.  RIP OFF REPORT WILL PROBABLY NOT ALLOW IT TO BE IN THIS POST AND IF SO THEY HAVE AGAIN VIOLATED THE LAW AND EXPLOIT BUSINESS OWNERS FOR MONEY. SEE THIS LINK

Statement Update

AUTHOR: TLCK9=Scam - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 02, 2010

I want to update a portion of my report that I wrote a couple weeks ago.

Based on my last report I want to retract this statement:
Bottom line - This company is a scam! They have more negative reports on the BBB and this website then they do positive ones (and Im kicking myself for not doing my own due diligence!).

What I would like to say instead is:
Bottom line I think this company is a scam. In my opinion they have more negative reports on the internet then they do positive ones and I'm kicking myself now for not doing my own due dilligence!
