I am an eBay member since 1997. I recently ordered 4x items leather case for Asus eePad from the e-bay seller "togettwu6". The order & transaction details are:

Pay-pal transaction ID:1L489167U2262933W.

The order date: April-14-12

When I ordered the item, the seller informed me that it would take 2-months to deliver. I did not realize that it was beyond eBay 45-day dispute resolution period allowed. I have sent several e-mail messages to this seller via e-Bay, the seller assured me that it would be delivered and in case it was not delivered, he would replace or refund the money. After waiting for two months, since the item has not been delivered, I contacted the seller again to get the refund, but the seller has not responded to any of my recent e-mails. In other words, the seller is gone off the radar.

Despite my several attempts to contact the seller, I reported this matter to eBay and Pay-pal  through their dispute resolution. Unfortunately, none of them were able to help me as their 45-day deadline for dispute resolution has been expired.

 In consideration of the above, I think the seller kept me comfortable (by responding and giving me assurances earlier) or used a ploy to buy more time, until the resolution period expires. 

I presume that I have to get a hit for this eBay transaction. Although the item value is only US$19.98, the principles of trust and honoring the transaction still remain  the same as high value transaction. Also, I strongly feel that eBay should address these rather than be rigid on bureaucratic policies.
