I called this company looking to get a phone number in the Philippines forwarded to me. Even though I found the service to be quite expensive, they told me their profit magins were small because the Philippines phone company was charging the big bucks. So I signed up for their basic service of 139$ which was good for 1 month and I believe 250 minutes of forwarding. I asked them if they could forward the calls to my business associate in Africa, but they told me their service only allows forwarding to US based numbers. So I signed up for a US number and had it forwarded to my associate in Africa. After nine days, I got billed another 139$ plus 67$. They told me I already used up 128 minutes and was getting billed 54 cents per minute for the 9 days. They told me I was prepaid for the following month and that the extra 139$ was a mistake and would be refunded. A few hours later, my account was suspended. When I called them to find out what was going on, they told me somebody from Africa logged into my account. I explained to them I have an associate in Africa who handles my calls. They told me people from Africa are fraudsters and that they will review my account. A few hours later my account was terminated. I called to try and explain my situation but I was basically accused of being a fraud. I told them they just billed my account a few hours prior and that they should refund my money. They told me they refunded all 3 payments already and the money was back in my account. I asked if there was a manager I can talk to regarding my account, they told me to contact their legal department. I asked for the number and was told that department didn't have a number. I asked how to contact the department and was told to e-mail email@example.com I have e-mailed them twice in the last 3 days and so far nobody has contacted me. I checked my bank account and as expected I'm still short 345$. I called my bank and they told me there are no pending refunds. Quite clearly this was all a scam and they were just looking for any reason to close my account and keep the money. They even went as far as accusing me of being a fraud. Now I have to fill out forms to report them for the fraudulent charges and hope I get a refund through Visa.
The good news is I found another company who offers the same service as them and are about 80% cheaper.
