Toluna supposedly sent me a check for $20.  The estimated arrival date was January 19th, 2010.  The check never made it to my mailbox.  Toluna will not respond to my inquiry.  On January 25th, 2010, Toluna deducted 53,985 points from my account.  That is the equivalent of $19.00.  The reason given is that the points expired.  My best guess is that Toluna is now like MyView.  You complete their surveys.  They get paid for it.  Just before you have enough to get what they promised you, they cancel you out and you get nothing.

i'm glad you got paid, and were able to prevent a complete loss..

they actually told people when they merged, not to cancel greenfield accounts..

fraudulent behavior i have experienced. and is their current policy

if after one year, if you don't cash out, they steal your points.
if after 6 mo you are "inactive" you have not completed any surveys or updated personal profiles, interest survey, etc..

they steal your money.

they can choose, to not take your money..

i have lost money because of this policy.. i like the services, they provide and the influence of their surveys

but this policy must change. it is cruel, negligent and theft..if it happens again i will seek legal means of settlement, or punishment to the fullest extent of current laws

Toluna continues to act like a bank

AUTHOR: Lawnmowrman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 21, 2010

The check finally made it to my mailbox.  The deducted points have not been reinstated.  I earned those points through your2cents.  The Toluna/your2cents panel does exist.  Toluna shifted me to Greenfield.  When I cancelled the Greenfield account, Toluna deducted the points that were earned through your2cents.

From my correspondence with Toluna,

On Jan 18, 2010   I did not cancel your2cents toluna, however I did cancel greenfield online toluna. Would you please make sure that this was done correctly. I have no interest in Greenfield Online. I should have cancelled the Greenfield Online account years ago. I ABSOLUTELY WANT TO KEEP THE YOUR2CENTS TOLUNA ACCOUNT INTACT AND WORKING.

On Mon, Feb 15, 2010   Thank you for contacting Toluna. January 4th Toluna and Greenfield merged into one company. When you deleted your Greenfield account you also deleted your Toluna account, since at this point they were one entity. We can reinstate your account however your points and rewards will be forfeit.

On Feb. 17, 2010   I've reported Toluna USA as a scam and filed a report at ripoffreport.com.  My points were earned through your2cents.  My account at Toluna should have remained with your2cents.

On March 1, 2010   Thank you for contacting Toluna and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.  Your inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate personnel.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and hope you continue to enjoy our site.

I haven't heard from Toluna since March 1st.
