To whom ever I can warn.
If you are a male and expect to get a fair report from this agency think again. They have repeatedly make reckless decisions with my daughters life. Her mother continues to use drugs and alcohol in front of and around my daughter.She can lie and manipulate the system all she wants and child protective services continue to aid her in doing so. My daughter is going to end up dead becuase they continue to do this. My daughter was removed from her mothers house in june becuase she was not following the safety plan that was set. On a recent visit to her mothers home she witnessed her mother smoke marajuanna and drink in front of her. I filed for custody and now one month later they are saying they see no issues. Lol becuase they arent looking. These people have way to much input in deciding where my daughter will be the safest. These people should be fired and sued for gross neglegence. I am heart broken that there is no-one I can turn to to put a stop to this. This is a travesty and I can only pray my daughter is safe when im not there for her..may god help me and look over my daughter and keep her safe. God knows the very agency that is supposed to is choosing to deliberatly look the other way!!!

I am so sorry what your friend iis going through. The problem is that if somone files a false report and even them knowing that they dont prosecute the person who files the false claim. There is no one who will help the average citizen. Who can we report cps workers to their supervisors...lmao.there all biddies i will pray for your friend as i do for my daughter daily..

I am watching a friend go through the same thing. She is the custodial parent and CPS as sent out 8 workers in the past nine months from Tompkins county, ny dss. They want stability and the least amount of people in the children's lives, but isn't that contradictory to their expectations? Erin Peterson has only made one visit over 6 months ago. She now decides she wants to write a negative report when my friend hasn't had any negative reports since her visit. She left a domestic situation and sometimes you have to wonder if its better to stay with the abuser or let CPS abuse and make the victim walk on egg shells for the rest of her life. I'm in my friends life everyday. She's a good mother, she has the cleanest house I've ever been too, she's always home when she's not out running around like a chicken with her head off catering to CPS. She took her classes and her ex continually tries to control her life by making negative reports. They wonder why women go back to their abusers. Which is the lesser of two evils? I guess if you know you have your kids although you get beat, at least you have your kids. If the abuser does not get his way, she runs the risk of her kids being taken away because one person who only has 8 hours in a day, 5 days a week, has to rush to a decision based upon her caseload and deadlines, and jeopardizes the safety and well being of children who are taken care of and are loved dearly. Either be a part consistently and see the truth, or start focusing your energy on children who really need the support and advocates to protect them!!!

I'm sorry to hear your story.c.p.s in every county are bad people! They do families wrong,everyone needs to file a class action lawsuit!
