Bought a toro lawnmower for $560.00 and after 2 sweeps shut of mower to pick up sticks. Tried starting mower but it took 2 to 4 really hard pulls to get it started again. Shut it off, tried 3 different times and still hard to start. I even had my husband try and it took him 2 to 3 hard pulls to start it. The reason we bought this lawn mower was because our 10 yr old lawnboys self propelled system was not working as well as it used to so we figured it was time for a new one. Well we found that the toro lawn mowers self propelled system was just as bad as our 10 yr old lawn mower we were replacing for this same reason. The toro's self propelled system is really weak (poor)..we had the lawn mower for 14 hrs (bought it at 5 pm) and we called the toro dealer when they opend first thing in the morning and told them we wanted to return the mower and they told us no because we used it for 2 minutes. We told them this was not on their receipt and that the receipt said not after 7 days. They still said they would not take it back. So we are stuck with this piece of crap mower..btw, they did say they would try and repair it..but how does someone repair a piece of junK???? They mislead the public by saying its guaranteed to start but not how long or hard it is to start...
