My mother passed away and since then, this company has done nothing to assist with coming to a settlement on a car my mother bought from them. They refused to discuss anything with me until I had her death certificate. They then demanded payments until I could get through probate court. As I am still waiting on court, I now find out they have a repossession order out on the car. They are completely unwilling to work with me to resolve this. I feel that they are only interested in money and care less about the people who buy their vehicles. Because of this treatment I will avoid ever owning a Toyota and I will continue to suggest that everyone avoid supporting this ripoff company!

Not wanting a free car

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, August 29, 2016

I do not want the car. All I want to do is sell the car, pay off the note and be done with it. However, I can't sell the car until probate is done. They won't put the loan on hold or work with me until the courts allow me to sell the vehicle. I have no desire to cheat them out of any money. So take your cup of kindness and go buy yourself a cup of coffee and share your wisdom with someone who needs it.

It is about money. Caring doesnt pay the bills. You CANNOT take a cup of caring in and pay your electric bill. Come on and TRY to be an adult. We can understand that you are upset over your loss. The reality is that THEY DESERVE to be paid off. In no way are YOU a victim of anything nor have you been ripped off in any way. If YOU assumed that her death meant thst YOU get a FREE car then YOU are delusional and should probably seek help. The settlment is that YOU pay off the note on the car and NOTHING MORE!!!!! Get over it and grow up!!!!
