I purchased a new phone, LG L38C, to use for personal use. After trying to get the phone to operate as it should, I contacted customer support. The girl was of no help at all. All she said was the phone was OK.

I called three more times as the phone just would would not accept any more than 13 phone numbers in memory. The phone would not allow any more storage of any programs, giving the message that memory was full. I deleted five phone numbers, but the phone would not allow me to add anything, even the phone numbers I had deleted. This was all done on the fourth call to Tracfone.

The Tech that was on the line said the phone was defective, and they would be sending me a new one. Nothing more was said at that time, so I thanked him, and we hung up. On Weds. a package showed up on my doorstep from tracfone.

I opened this box, expecting to see a new phone to transfer my numbers to, plus the 3014 Mins.and anything else. I found a note telling me to send the phone back, and after it was received they would THEN send the replacement unit. In the meantime, I am to use an old tracfone that I might have hanging around, buying time for it.  This is not what I was told on the phone by their tech. I need my phone, and the 10 to 14 days without it is not what was talked about.

I called Tracfone, talked to one operator, got no results, asked to speak to someone higher up. I was connected to John, manager on the floor. He,also, was no help, sticking to the storyline of send back first. When I asked him to connect me to hie superior, I was told to email corperateoffices@ tracfone.com, to try to get any other resolution. Sounds like a stall.

As of right now, I am waiting for ANY reply from them.

I don't expect them to resolve this. They seem very highhanded in their attitude to their customers. Maybe we all should use something/someone else for phone needs.

This is the last phone I will buy from this snotty company.

some help

AUTHOR: 9wood - ()

would seem the phone you have has very little memory (dont know specifics of it) seems the likely cause you cant add any more contacts etc..

as for the email yes they should reply back to you within 6 hours usually its says something along the lines for you to reply with your phpne number to call you back at and best time

i would call there corparate office and ask for a manager

1 800 626 4883   ext. 3324

if the phone itself is defective they should be sending you a replacement phone takes a week for it to arrive you will need to obtain a ticket number for the replacement , when the replacement phone arrives it will have a shipping label for you to use to return the defective phone (a box perhaps or envelope) just put phone in etc.. drop at post office and i would also suggest you copy the label for your records
