 On March 15, I spent over 4 hours on the phone with various representatives of Tracfone trying to activate a replacement phone they had sent to me.  I wanted to keep my same number and transfer my minutes.  The first "love" person I was connected with, activated the phone but without the minutes or same number.  I called back repeatedly and each person took a minimum of 27 minutes, 42 seconds and kept telling me to turn off the phone and try to make a call and if it did not work, wait an hour and call them back.  Not counting the time I waited after each unsuccessful attempt, I was on the phone for over 4 1/2 hours on that day.  When I asked "Why" is it so hard for someone to set up my phone, I was told that I was being "abusive" and hung up on!  I then found out that my new  cell phones was not activated, plus, they de-activated the old cell phone.

  I waited until Monday to again call about this.  The first person I talked to, told me that there was a record of me being "abusive" and she would disconnect me if I said anything.  She kept me on the phone for an additional 32 minutes and 42 seconds without being successful before she finally turned me over to another person.  This person, "Kamanie", was pleasant and although it took her 1 hour and 42 minutes to get the phone activated and my minutes transfered, she kept me on the line until it was complete.  She went through steps that the others did not.  She was not able, after 48 hours, to enable me to keep my old number.

I wasted well over 6 hours of my time plus a weekend without cell service.  I tried calling their listed number which said "line to live person in the corporate office".  This was just another line to no-where.  I sent a letter to the corporate office which they have not responded to as of today.

A pre-paid cell phone is ideal for me, but not through this company.

i had same issue previously there just there for paychecks in my opinion anyway i would contact there corparate office and ask for a manager 1800 626 4883   ext. 3324
