As you probably already know, most of these complainers have ZERO knowledge of the business end of trucking. For example...
1. "They 'make' me sit waiting for a load". Anybody with half a brain knows trucking companies ONLY get paid when the wheels turn therefore, it is to their advantage to avoid having the driver sit.
2. "They would rather hire and train new people". No matter what the business, the employer always would rather have a skilled, experienced work force rather than new people with no track record, not to mention the turnover costs.
3. "The trucking company has received millions in government handouts and write-offs." Really? Which company? How did they do that?
4. "They limit my truck to 62 mph. I know I can be on time if they let me drive 65." These complainers have never heard of the formula which clearly states, distance equals rate multiplied by time and three miles per hour ONLY means a three mile difference in one hour, if and only if you are able to drive at top speed for every second of that hour! Drivers are most often late due to POOR TRIP PLANING and time management.
5. "I don't get no miles because the dispatcher doesn't like me!" Read #1 above.
6. "There's a big conspiracy with the big companies wanting to put the little companies out of business." No, maybe the big companies have learned how to operate with efficiency.
7. "I'm tired of them complaining about idling." Right...idling your truck when nobody is inside, when fueling, when temperatures are not oppresive makes tons of sense.
Drivers have large amounts of time alone when they can day dream and think. It only takes one seed of ridiculous complaining to start the cascade into making a driver a complaining, whining cry baby spouting off nonsense heard on the CB and embellished by themselves and/or others!

This individual worked for TA for less than 60 days. TA is a top 10% pay company and does not take money away from drivers that they earn. We are a strong, reputable company that cares about their drivers as they are the folks on the front line.

When you read the information they give you, do you notice a bit of a difference between how they write and how you "write" (if that's what you want to call it)?
Somewhere in your family, neighborhood or circle of acquaintances, you must know a second or third grader. Have them teach you, if possible, how to write complete logical sentences, spelling, grammar and punctuation. Apparently when these subjects were taught while you were in school, you were asleep.
