After we took the cruise we discovered the real price for the trip was much less than the $5000 we paid and the travel agent benefits were not real. We then decided not to renew our membership. That all occurred in 2000 & 2001 but this week I received a 1099 for miscellaneous income from them for the year 2002. Since I never received ANY of this income from them (we were not even members in 2002),
I believe they may have some kind of tax scam going. This is a clever, dishonest group of people who use questionable sales tactics to take advantage of their customers.
