TravelBridge ripoff - false promises, no upgrades - no prossessing of year-old commissions Scottsdale Arizona .....
We joined Travelbridge four years ago. Until last year, things seemed to be going pretty well. In June I booked a trip for my sister's family of four to Hawaii through Travelbridge, expecting $300.00 in commissions to be paid before I went on vacation in November.
No such luck. Not by Christmas, not by my February vacation, not yet. I'm still waiting.
My husband sent a letter detailing this problem to the owner of the company, Mr. Eastvold, on March 2. No response. A certified letter will be sent out tomorrow, May 20, requesting our money back since they voided the contract by not paying the commission. We'll see if we get a response.
That's not the first incident. In 2001 I put together an east coast cruise for a pair of friends, departing from New York and sailing to Canada. I specifically asked the cruise specialist to purchase the insurance in case something happened that would prevent the trip. He didn't. He knew he didn't.
As a result of 911, my friends didn't take their trip; the ship's departure point was moved to Boston. Because of the lack of insurance my friends were only able after a long letter campaign to regain a small portion of the money from the cruiseline that they had paid for the trip.
The cruise specialist later received a promotion to director. Talk about idiocy! It's time Travelbridge paid up! I'm sure the Arizona Attorney General will be as interested in justice as the Texas A.G.

Janet I do not understand how travelbridge does not or can't pay you. In our research they just got 4 big deposits from Norwegian Cruise Lines in two days 6-25-03 and 6-27-03 in the amounts of
$35,768,06 and
$ 7,238.30 and
$52,537.50 and
$10,972.24
Grand total $106,516.10 in 2 days
They also had some money to pay Vincent $1,816.10 on the date of 7-02-03 and had money to pay Jeff Webb of 6037 East Selkirk Cir, Mesa Az $ 1,430 bucks on 7-02-03
They can't tell me that they do NOT have the money to pay you. If I were you and I wanted to expose Travelbridge, I would fax a copy of your Rip Off Report along with many other Rip Off Reports to one of the companies they do business with.
The company's name is "Air by Pleasant" their 800 is 1-800-877-8111. Call them up and tell them all about Travelbridge. Inform them that they need to look at all of the Rip Off Reports that consumers are posting.
Air by Pleasant's fax number is 1-619-282-4164. Make sure that you fax a copy of your Rip Off Report to this company. fax them many Rip Off Reports on Travelbridge. Wake them up to this scam.
I also would fax a copy of your Rip Off Report to Norwegian Cruise Line's. Their fax number is 1-713-974-3422. I am sure that Norwegian Cruise Line's does not want to be linked to a deceptive company.
Just think if all who can afford to take a big costly cruise would read all of Travelbridge's Rip Off Reports. The big boats would be hoag tied to their docks for some time.
Note to Travelbridge: Just think how many of the companies that you get paid from find and read Rip Off Reports on you A Holes!

we purchased membership about 3 yrs ago. we received our commissions at first and found staff helpful. Then, the Tucson office closed -
- we have difficulty getting our calls returned, little help with trip planning. we took Australia/New Zealand trip in April, also booked a friend on that trip.
Our $600.00 commission is being denied. They are claiming that they hope to pay commissions once the travel business gets back on its feet, and until then they won't be collecting our annual fee if we have commissions coming. We want our money back for our initial investment - - due to breech of contract!!!!!!!!!
