Travellooga invites people over to present what ends up to be a scam on a free cruise or other travels with Compass Travel My husband and I went to a presentation where we had been invited at Travellooga: http://www.compasstravel.us/index.html. : Eventually, we were handed "your passage to fun", basically a free cruise... http://www.passagetofun.com/index.php for the two of us for 3 nights out of Miami.

We were told that we needed to pay $99 to register our certificate within 60 days... which seemed to be a fair deal. I called the number on this certificate: 386-255-3393 and was told that on top of the $99 registration, any cruise line would charge us at least $199 per person depending on where we wanted to go...

Considering that a cruise out of Miami can be a low as $179 per person, it was obvious that it was a scam and nothing in fact was "free" besides the fact that you had to pay on top of the cruise price $199 per person to start with!

Here is the site in question: http://www.passagetofun.com/index.php The sale's speech at Travellooga, basically leads you to believe that Compass Travel is above suspicion.

Had I not checked before I pay the $99 registraqtion fee, I would probably be stuck with a "free" cruise that would require me to pay at least $500!

I feef very bad for the room full of people listening to the sale speech, most of them unknowingly and probably sent their registration fees without checking that in fact, nothing was free and that this is a total scam. These practices are reprehensible and should be against the law.

They even had a staff outside the office on the beach soliciting people to get into the premises to listen to the speech with a promise of $100 if they spend 60 minutes listening to the speech.

I wonder if the people I saw coming in with him ever got their $100 bill, which he waves in front of your eyes as he drags you into this agency.
