This is an unusual rip-off by U-Promise!  It is also VERY clever.

I signed up a few years ago for E-Rewards which is a division of U-Promise.  I have taken SEVERAL surveys over the years in exchange for payment.  When I first signed up, I was given .50 on the dollar to take surveys on-line in my spare time.  When I have a few dollars saved up, I would then transfer my Reward Dollars from E-Rewards to U-Promise and then receive a check in approximately 4 weeks.  This is barely acceptable but tolerated as 4 weeks is not an inordinate time to wait for a check.

Unfortunately, now U-Promise is only rewarding me approximately .40 on the dollar and this is how it works:

First, you request your reward dollars be transferred to your U-Promise Account.  This takes approximately 5 to 6 weeks.  Then, your U-Promise account lists your money as "Pending".  This takes another 8 - 10 weeks, then you can request a check which takes another 8 - 10 weeks!!!  Seriously???  As of today, March 3, 2014, my money has been pending since December 5, 2013!!!  When I called U-Promise to ask about this, there is no one there that is from the United States, even though Sallie Mae is an American program.  The gentleman with a heavy accent tells me that he is escalating my matter which will take another 30 days!!!  Really???

U-Promise, this is such a dirty, low down and underhanded way to treat your customers who are working hard and giving your money for nothing!!!

If this is not a Rip-Off, I don't know what is.
