Ugly Duckling: Rip off
This has been many, many years ago my husband bought a truck from ugly duckling. He got behind on payments, then caught them up. No problem.
We traded in his truck for another one with a balance of 2500.00. They told us no problem as long as we traded it in their company, we did. It was traded for another truck, its all on the paperwork we did with them. Paid this truck off and traded it in for another vehicle at another dealership, and was told we had a repo on our credit from ugly duckling. What?
The car we were trading in and had paid off with a receipt from them saying paid in full they were claiming it had been repoed. I contacted collections in Tucson and talked to some very rude women who did not want to hear of my problem. Needless to say we could not get financed for a new vehicle with a repo on our credit.
We had to wait for it to come off of our credit report before we could do anything.
Dont ever buy a car from drive time there the same crooks as Ugly Duckling just a different name
Thanks
Aundra

If there is something on your credit report that you do not agree with, like a overdue amount, or a repo, you have the right to challenge it. When a item is in challenge state it does not appear on your credit report.
To challenge you must call the bureaus yourself. The place you are applying for new credit from sohould be able to give you the numbers to call based on what bureau they use (there are three main ones).
Never just go to the place that reported you, challenge with the bureau to get it suspended while you fight it out.
