There were fliers from Uncle Bebo's Pizzeria left on our doors at the La Quinta when we checked in so we assumed (mistakenly) that it was a good place and recommended by the hotel. First, the listed pizza were significantly more expensive than popular chains such as Dominos and Papa Johns's but we like to support local business so we decided to give it a try.

First, they didn't deliiver our entire order (e.g., the 2-liter soda was missing) so we did not receive all that we paid for. Secondly, the food that was delivered absolute garbage. The only words I can find to describe how bad it was is that our dog loves pizza and even he wouldn't eat it. It was a waste of $28.

The flier did not mention any website or email address but the address and phone numbers listed on the flier are:

Pizza was awful

AUTHOR: smerby - ()

I got the same treatment from Uncle Bebo's pizza with the flyer treatment in the door of the La Quinta. My wife ordered a 15.00 pizza and a can of Pepsi combo from the flyer and the guy tried to charge us 25.00. Wife wife had enough sense to call back and they settled with 20.00 which included delivery. We got the pizza and tried to pick up the slices and they stuck together like hard frozen pizza crust that could not be cut with the pizza slicer. The sauce, cheese, and pepperoni looked like it was spinning on the wheel all day long.  Basically it was frozen pizza and it tasted like card board crap. We threw away half of the pizza. To add insult to injury they brought over RC cola instead of Pepsi, they had just run out of Pepsi.  Anyone staying at the La Quinta be aware of this bad pizza.

Thanks, but...

Thank you for the suggestion but your proposed action doesn't address the largest problem. I cannot find the words to describe how horrible the food was. Even our dog wouldn't eat it and he absolutely loves pizza. After my son, my dog and I tried this pizza and had to discard about 95% of it, we decided that we would have been better off giving a homeless guy $20 and taking whatever half-eaten cheeseburger he had found in a dumpster the day before.

Before you stop

You should give them a call and talk to the owner. Tell the owner your experience. You may hear that the owner may defend his employees. However, if this issue has been repeatedly reported to the owner, I am sure that the owner will do something to it. The problem could be from the "delivery" person who steals the goods. There are some of these people who like to steal stuff when they deliver. As a result, the restaurant is being blamed. Just my two cents...
