At this time, I went to Trial and ask for 60 days to collect my defense against Unifund CCR. After the Judge grant 60days re scheduled date. I immediately contact Unifunds CCR and the Law Firm to request documents from Creditor.
Upon their response, Unifund CCR provided a copy of the Credit Card contract. However, the account was sold to Pilot Receivable Mgmt LLC which is not the same as Unifunds CCR. The second letter I mailed to Unifunds CCR and Law Firm asking for proof of documents that they claim the ownership of the account.
I have a trial coming up in Jan 2014. Unifunds said I owe $9,000 + fees to the total of $14,000(+) and they recommended that I contact their office to make payment arrangements. To this day, I have not received any proof that Unifunds CCR LLC and Law Firm provided my request.
