Getting financed with United Auto Credit was the biggest mistake ever.
I got a car with them when I got divorced. I was a single mom and needed a car.
I am currently a government employee and was affected by the Government shut down, and I like many others were "Furloughed". This means that our government no longer had the funds to pay their employees their full rate of pay.
$300 was getting taken out of my paycheck for a total of 6 pay periods.
Before the Furlough hit. I contacted United Auto Credit and explained to them what was getting ready to happen to see if I can get some type of payment option until the end of the Furlough. I was told that I sign a contract with them before I got furloughed.
They are not willing to work with you when you fall behind. They will harass you at work. I work at a hospital and told them on many occassions that they were interferring with patient care and to contact me after 4pm. They never listened.
They accutally had a Repo Man come to my place of employment even after I talked to them early that day & told them that I am trying to work to pay them.
They do need to be stopped. At this point I want them to take the car, so I don't have to deal with them anymore.
