UES sold me a "rebuilt" Putzmeister plaster pump that has been nothing but problems. From day one the pump showed up non operational. The solenoid that actuates the throttle and the pumping mechanism was broken and did not function. There was a 9" long crack in the frame that holds the motor on one side and a 6" long crack on the other side. The mixer would not start because the new starter that they installed while "rebuilding" it did not match the flywheel in the motor so it would just grind. They sent me 2 used plaster hoses when they should have been new. The newly installed fuel fittings leaked diesel fuel all over the place. The trailer lights were not wired and they were not grounded to the chassis either. The manifold was outfitted with an improper fittings, fittings for fire proofing not plastering even though I have emails stating that it would be set up for plastering. The remote control switch was broken and part of it was missing. All of these issues were aparent when I took delivery of the pump, there have been lots more show up since I have had the pump for a couple weeks now. When the pump was delivered I notified UES of these issues and they treated me like I was crazy. I had to send them emails and take it to a mechanic just to get them to listen to me about these issues. They have refused to fix these isses, or compensate me for the costs that I have spent on this pump.  I have asked for nothing more than to be reinburced for the costs that I have spent, nothing more. They have refused to provide me with a functioning pump like our sales agreement says that they would, in the time frame that the agreement states. To top it all off they have not provided me with a title only a bill of sale and it took 4 weeks just to get that! UES is not a company that I would recomed to anybody. I should never have purchased anything from them.

UES are a ripoff!!

AUTHOR: Randy - ()

All rebuttals they listed are lies. The crack was on the frame that holds the pump and diesel motor to the trailer frame. When delivery of the pump was made my financing was already in place and signed for, down payment had already been made. Refund was not possible and they knew this. They would not ship if not paid for in advance or certified financing in place, their sales order states this as well. It took me less than 48 hours to replcae the hoses that blew, they aren't a strange size or hard to get. One of the hoses had a date stamp from 1994! 20 YEARS OLD!! The ring gear for the mixer should have been changed out with the starter. There is a service bulietin in Putzmiesters computer parts system, wouldn't a putzmiester dealer and refurbisher know this? The ring gear took me 48 hours to get in when I ordered directly from the manufacturer and yet UES couldnt figure out the issue or get parts for over 3 weeks!

Do not buy from these people they are dishonest and practice business very poorly and unethically!

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Customer refused full refund

AUTHOR: UES Company - ()

UES sold me a "rebuilt" Putzmeister plaster pump that has been nothing but problems. From day one the pump showed up non operational.

We sell refurbished pumps which we test to insure there are no defects.

At the time the pump left it had been tested and was operational.

There was a lease involved with this purchase.  The Customer was to sign off on the final payment after receipt and upon acceptance of the pump so that the lease company would release funds.

The solenoid that actuates the throttle and the pumping mechanism was broken and did not function.

This must have been damaged in shipping.  UES sent customer a new solenoid.

There was a 9" long crack in the frame that holds the motor on one side and a 6" long crack on the other side.

We missed the crack in the engine subplate.  The pump was cracked at the engine subplate, it was nonstructural crack.  UES told the customer that we would send a truck to pick up the pump and refund 100% of funds paid.  Customer denied the offer and accepted the pump.  UES and Customer agreed upon a compensation amount for damages.

The mixer would not start because the new starter that they installed while "rebuilding" it did not match the flywheel in the motor so it would just grind.

The mixer did start when tested.  A new factory built starter was installed for the serial number of that particular unit.  The customer said the ring gear was out.  We purchased the ring gear for him.  We offered 3 hours flat rate for installing the fly wheel.  He decided to have his own mechanic take care of the parts and labor.

The times he was quoting that it took his mechanic to fix was not to standard flat rate times.  UES had agreed to pay the standard 3 hours flat rate ($300) for the starter ring, but he wanted $600.

They sent me 2 used plaster hoses when they should have been new. The newly installed fuel fittings leaked diesel fuel all over the place.

The 2 small size new hoses that customer wanted were no longer being manufactured.  We substituted with good used hose. This was included in the UES agreed upon compensation amount.

The trailer lights were not wired and they were not grounded to the chassis either.

UES was not aware of a problem with trailer lights.

The manifold was outfitted with an improper fittings, fittings for fire proofing not plastering even though I have emails stating that it would be set up for plastering.

This was noticed at time of shipment.  UES service manager notified customer prior to his receipt of the pump.  The correct parts were shipped the same day.

The remote control switch was broken and part of it was missing. All of these issues were aparent when I took delivery of the pump, there have been lots more show up since I have had the pump for a couple weeks now.

This also must have happened during shipping.  This was also included in the UES agreement for compensation.

When the pump was delivered I notified UES of these issues and they treated me like I was crazy.

It was at this time we offered to refund his money in full.  He later chose to accept the pump and notified the finance company to release the balance of funds to be paid to UES.

I had to send them emails and take it to a mechanic just to get them to listen to me about these issues.

UES service manager spoke to the customer by phone at least 20 times and the customer stated that if he didn’t get exactly what he wanted he was going to file claims to damage our reputation.

After providing UES with the list of complaints, the customer still insisted he wanted to keep the pump.  UES and the customer came to an agreement of payment for damages in the agreed upon amount of $750.  This check was cashed by the customer.

To top it all off they have not provided me with a title only a bill of sale and it took 4 weeks just to get that! UES is not a company that I would recomed to anybody. I should never have purchased anything from them

We do not title equipment.  Pumps are considered specialty equipment and are not titled.  We sent a bill of sale upon request as is our standard business practice.
