at its best!

After paying nearly $50.00 for guaranteed overnight delivery my package never arrived.

Upon contacting UPS I was told it was due to weather conditions in Seattle so there is no guarantee.

The reciever confirmed the weather was fine so I double checked with UPS to see if the package may have been held up somewhere else where poor weather conditions would have an impact.  I was told again that it was marked delayed due to weather after it reached it's destination city, when I informed them the weather was fine they replied by saying "we have our own planes so even if you choose to fly we may not, or if you decide to drive, we may not."

Thank you UPS for making FEDEX my 2nd choice now in carriers when I cannot use USPS.

People make mistakes, but UPS doesn't they just lie.

Shameful ignorance.

AUTHOR: seeworthy - (USA)

Atleast you had the intelligence to realize that weather delays may occur outside of the delivery location. That's where your cleverness came to a screeching and, with your adolescent attitude, a rather disgraceful halt. Of several other possibilities, why did you not consider reasons for the delay after it reached the destination distribution center? Is it really too difficult for you to imagine the backlog of shipments due to hurricane Sandy? Even if the area no longer had any road conditions which continued to cause delays, it took (and is still taking in some areas) several days for carriers to deliver the shipments that could not be delivered during or immediately after the storm.

And FedEx had no delays and as soon as the rain stopped and the birdies were chirping as the drivers stretched their bones after a lovely break they ran out and did four times their regular volume in one day. How lovely! Or not. FedEx had the same challenges, same delays, and same mentally-challenged customer complaints. And why ship with FedEx at all? Any fool knows that USPS has perfect tracking and never has any problems. I mean, DUH, "Neither Rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night" means no delays during or after any hurricanes for the mailman! Ever see a mailman sitting on his butt cowardly waiting for a hurricane and subsequent cleanup, as the mail piles up all around him and will take forever to catch up on? Of course not, so there you go!

And I missed the point with this statement of obvious logic, "we have our own planes so even if you choose to fly we may not, or if you decide to drive, we may not." Amongst other reasons, carriers may cease deliveries when the safety of driver's are at stake. We've all seen the news clips of the dopes that choose to drive through the little road puddles that go half way up their car door. Oh if they had only gotten to the other side of that little puddle. Then they could write complaints here stating, "HEY! I made it to the other side of the puddle but UPS and FedEx were no where to be scene. What a bunch of lazy liars that chose not to drive like I did!"

Too bad every employee of UPS, FedEx, or USPS didn't share the same intelligence, determination, honesty, and infallibility as you. If only so, there would never be another late package again. Ever!
