United Personal Loans personal loan scam Internet

I   received a phone call from a man saying his name was Mike Oliver and he was connected with United personal loan based out of Houston Texas. He claimed he was approved for a 4000 dollarpersonal loan interest for 22 months.

1st red flag: The man spoke with a heavy accent and was barely understandable

2nd red flag:  He claimed he would have the money in my account in 20 minutes

all I needed to do was put $200 on a vanilla reload network and provide them with the verification number BIG RED FLAG!!

I was in such need of the cash I almost put the money on the card. LUCKILY common sense took over and I did nothing. All of this happened on a Saturday.

On Monday I received another call from "Mike" wanting me to go forward with the transaction. I said no reputable company would require cash for a loan or transfer funds without proper documentation completed beforehand. I told him I thought he was trying to scam me. After arguing with me for a few minutes he's said: "Well ma'am you can kiss my a** and f*** you.

This is a complete scam.beware.thank goodness I didn't give them any money and my common sense took over.
