Universal Autos are rips offs I gave them 10 thousand dollars on a car that my grandma left me from her recent death for it to break down on me I called them about it and they told me to bring it in and they will look at it when i brought it in they told me nothing was wrong with it and they took my key and told me to pay 2 more thousand dollars that I owed them I told them no the car doesnt work why would I give you more money on a car that doesnt work I just wanna return the car and get my money back they told me I couldnt and if I didnt pay the other 2 thousand dollars that I would have to surrender the car and it would be in reposition which I find odd because I didnt even pay the first note on the car yet so how can I surrender a car that isnt mine which the finance guy named bobby had told me . I couldnt believe what I was hearing then they told me I wouldnt be able to leave with the car if I didnt pay the money well that was fine all I wanted was my money back because I didnt even pay the full deposit yet I've asked around and have gotten the same answer you were suppose to get your money back the finance guy also told me It was state law but the state law says thats only if you have paid the full deposit and you've paid the first month note I'm sure , Some one please help me I guess the owner was trying to be nice and gave me a car worth 3000 dollars but it broke down 2 days later but from what bobby the finance guy had told me they couldnt give me another car , I'm confused and I know I was ripped off because I kept catching them up in their lies but once they had my money they wouldnt give it back I would of payed the 2000 dollars if the car was working but it wasnt please some one help me I'm part of the police family in las vegas nv and I'm sure they wouldnt let them do this to someone part of the police family so if anyone can get back to me please do so I'm mad and that money was a gift from my grandmother who passed who also worked for the police department for 13 years their ripoffs and they stole my money help help help

Hey "smart girl"....I'm still waiting for your lawyer! Where is he??
I really hate when people make threats and don't follow through.
The only "ripoff" here is that you got onto a public forum and posted blatant lies about a place of business that actually helped you out even after you defaulted on your agreement with them!
You need to lose your "entitlement attitude".
You are entitled to NOTHING.
The fact of the matter is, that you are trying to live a caviar style life when you are on a dog food budget.
Get used to the dog food.
That's the best advice I can give you.
You clearly made a bad choice to buy a BMW that you obviously could not afford.
That was just plain stupid, so you are NOT a "smart girl".
IF you were truly a "smart girl" you would have purchased a more conservative car with a warranty for that $10,000 and owned it outright, or made very small payments for 2-3 years that you could afford, and that would have built your credit.
THAT would have been "smart".
But, instead, you had the need to be "gangsta" in your little thug loser life, and it didn't work out for you.
It seems like your Mom would have given you some better advice.
Makes me thing your Momma is a loser too.
The apple usually doesn't fall too far from the tree.
Grow up.

I did about 2 minutes worth of basic search on this "smart girl".
It appears she is not actually smart, and lives making a series of bad choices.
Her "stage name" is JASMINE.
Enough said there (as suspected).

She lies on various public profiles, one of which she claims to be 24.
And, filled with all of the same poor spelling and grammar and word use.
Totally illiterate.
There are about 3 full pages of search results on her with a quick search.
It appears that she uses drugs as well from her own social networking posts.
Single black female, single mom, daddy unknown, living with Mommy.
Yeah....OK

Lawyer........hahahahahaha
AUTHOR: R - (Canada)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 15, 2012
Why on earth would your lawyer (I'm sure you have one on retainer) contact the other contributors this thread?
Are you planning to sue for defamation of character? (your original post, follow-ups and lack of any grammatical structure have taken care of that all by themselves).
How was "your" lawyer going to contact the anonymous responders?
You may have a valid complaint but your complete lack of writing skills and childish name calling have rendered it moot.
Stay in school, and get an education, you need it.
Leave the grown up stuff to the adults little girl.

Lawyer??? For what??? Because you are a liar and an idiot??
AUTHOR: Southern Chemical and Equipment LLC - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 15, 2012
Please, Jade, don't insult my intelligence here.
Lawyer? Really? For what?
Because I proved that you are a liar?
(And an idiot).
You think that when some brainless twit mentions "lawyer" I will go away?
I eat lawyers for breakfast.
I actually have a track record there.
BRING IT ON! I live for this kind of stupidity. It's a great hobby.
You should consider your self to be real lucky that the car dealership you wrote the lies about does not sue you.
The bottom line here is that you should own up to your bad behavior and your lies, and apologize to all you have hurt with your childish nonsense, and move on.
Grow up.
And whatever you do, go back to the third grade and learn how to communicate like at least a semi-literate adult.
Capitalize.
Punctuate.
Use structure.
Separate your thoughts.
But most important....MOVE ON.
You pick a fight with me...you lose.
Guaranteed.
Question: Is your "lawyer" another illiterate stripper?

The #1 indicator that someone is clueless
AUTHOR: Southern Chemical and Equipment LLC - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 15, 2012
I can always tell that a person is clueless when posting here on ROR just by looking at the way the initial report was posted.
For example, this genius posts in the wrong category, and then uses cross streets as an address, and types in too many digits in the phone#, and all the while using all lower case when posting, with no puctuation or structure.
..So, Jade, Was it the court or a judge that ripped you off, or was it the car dealership?
(Seems like a college student could figure out how to post in the proper category).
..Did you not know the address of where you did business, or were you just to lazy to take 3 seconds and do it right? (Most strippers just use cross streets in Vegas, as I know from my prior 6 years driving a cab in Vegas).
..Too many digits in the phone#

Repossession
AUTHOR: Universal Auto - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 15, 2012
This customer came into our store with her mother a while after buying the car and told us that she could no longer afford the payments. She agreed that she had gotten in over her head and was just going to surrender the vehicle. That she would just buy another car later. Since she had put so much money down and had been honest in her dealings with us, we offered to give her a car that she would not need to make payments for, and would own free and clear.
At that time, she was very grateful and said that she appreciated the gesture and although the new car wasn't a BMW, she was blessed to have any car at all and that some people have no car. She left very happy.
Typically in a case like this, we wouldn't give the person surrendering a car anything. They are the one breaking a contract by not continuing with their payments. We went above and beyond in this case and I am very surprised to read this. The BMW had no major problems at all and is now in the possession of a happy new owner.
We will continue to deal with our customers in a fair and ethical manner. Please make sure that the financing terms you agree to are within your budget before entering into a contract.

And the illiterate rambling continues! Jade...
AUTHOR: Southern Chemical and Equipment LLC - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 15, 2012
You never posted the year of that BMW and what the actual sales price was.
That's ok, I'll contact the car dealership and get the rest of the info from them.
In any case, I doubt a 21 year old needs a BMW.
That's just not sensible.
That is an expensive car to own and operate.
The maintenence is expensive.
The insurance is expensive.
Let me guess...a single mother too, right?
Where's the daddy of your 1 year old child?
Do you even know who the daddy is?
It looks like your life is a series of bad choices.
FYI...I bought my FIRST house whan I was 19 years old with no help from anyone.
Didn't need to squander money from a dead relative to get what I wanted.
AND...I pay cash for my vehicles. I never finance at any level.
Let me tell you something for sure. With your attitude, a college degree won't matter. You will be unemployed, or underemployed.
Regardless of what anyone tells you, a college degree in itself is worthless. You need other experience and qualities to go along with the degree in order to be successful.
In any case, I'll contact the car dealership and get the other side from them.

Jade,
I make 1 typo, and that makes me illiterate??
I don't think so. Actually, I'm multi-tasking while running my business and typing these reports.
On the other hand, your responses look like they were written by a third grader.
Illiterate rambling at it's finest..no capitalization, no puctuation, run on sentences, mis-spellings galore, etc..
I am ashamed to say that you represent our current generation, and that you represent the quality of our educational system.
That's ok though, plenty of strip clubs in Vegas for you to work at!
That's where all of the illiterate young bimbos work.
Cheetah,s, OG, the Rhino, etc..Or do you already work as a stripper?

AUTHOR: Southern Chemical and Equipment LLC - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Monday, May 14, 2012
There is no ripoff here.
Just multiple displays of stupidity.
You are mixing the issues, when one issue has nothing to do with the other.
I can tell right from the start that stupidity is the main factor here, as the OP is barely literate.
Go back to the third grade and try again.
Illiteracy is a big problem in our contry, so don't be part of the problem.
It is obvious that you purchased a USED vehicle, right??
(You never mentioned the year, make, model, or mileage).
What does your WRITTEN WARRANTY say?
You did get a warranty, right??
Was this BANK FINANCING, or "Buy Here, Pay Here" financing??
(This makes a difference as to your legal rights).

Grandparents take note
AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, May 13, 2012

Do you have a guardian?
AUTHOR: MovingForward - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, May 13, 2012
It is apparent from your report that you need a guardian to help you with everyday tasks. Do you have an adult in your family that can help you? If so, go to them now and tell them what you have done with your inheritance. You should not have access to any more funds without supervision.
