Urban Nutrition LLC An Expensive Scam Jersey City, New Jersey

I saw this company's ad for "Restaid" in the Saturday Evening Post.  Thinking it was legitimate, I called the number to get a free trial with payment for shipping only.  I was told that if I did not want it, I could return it within thirty days witih no obligation to buy more.

The package came today showing a charge of $15.90 for shipping plus an "order total" of $165.75.  I immediately tried to call their customer service number to get the RMA number to use to return it before the $165 was charged to my account.

No one answered, all day, no one returned my message.  Suspecting a ripoff, I called my VISA credit card and was told the $15.90 shipping had been charged but, also, another charge of  $214.04 plus $1.72 shipping for purchase from a company called "2Buysafe" had been made on my account. I have never heard of this company and have used my credit card number only with a few companies I have traded with for years.  Therefore, I can only conclude that personnel at this company immediately used my card to make this purchase.  The card company has that charge now under litigation, has cancelled my card and will issue a new one.

In looking at their packing slip, it is noted that, in bold letters, they request a customer wanting to retuirn merchandise to not call their credit card compamy as it "could cause delays and issues with your credits."  Apparently, they wanted to make sure the card  was available for charging before the customer catches on.  Thankfully, that alerted me to do just that and thus, I found out about the purchase from 2buysafe which I had never heard of. Hopefully, they will not now be able to charge the $165.75 charge.
