 What a terrible, horrible experience I had at this store today.  I stopped in a few days ago to purchase a converter plug to power an appliance I had bought from the UK here in the states.  Long story short, the woman I dealt with sold me the wrong item.  She was super nice and I had a good experience there with her.  She told me that if I had any issues or if it didn't work I had 10 days to bring it back for a full refund--it would be store credit after 10 days. 

Well I took it home, tried it out, and wasn't happy with it.  I did a bit of research online and discovered I needed something completely different than what she sold me.  No big deal.  I ordered what I really needed on Amazon and went back to the store 3 days later to return the item I had purchased. 

I met up with a man who I assume to be the owner.  I've been in customer service my whole career and I could not believe how I was treated.  I explained the situation and asked for a refund.  The guy told me that I had indeed been sold the wrong product and that he had what I needed in stock and that he would do me a favor and let me exchange the items for the new item. I told him I didn't need to exchange anything as I bought what I needed online and I just wanted a refund.  He told me too bad and that I needed to return the new item I bought and exchange for the item he wanted to sell me.  I told him no thank you.  He then proceeded to get rude and completely disrespectful.  He told me that I had basically "slapped him in the face" for wanting to return the items and not purchasing something else instead.  He then proceeded to tell me that he would not return the items for me telling me that I had burned up the converter and he would not take it back. 

After demanding that he refund my money because I was completely in line with the return policy and that it was his employee who sold me the wrong item he then proceeded to scream at the top of his lungs at me.  I kept pushing back until finally he said he would just do the refund to get rid of me.  Reallly?!?!?!?! 

I left feeling pretty confident that he was going to void the whole credit transaction after I left so I contacted my credit card company just to make note of my concern.  I, of course, kept all documentation as evidence in case the refund doesn't process. 

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE!  I have never, ever written a review before in my life but I felt compelled to do so after my experience today.  If you do feel the need to go here...shop at your own risk and be 100% sure about your purchase as you may not be able to actually get your money back!!!!
