This report is not only designed to make you aware of a very bad moving company. It is also designed to give you some advice on getting even.

I have deliberately waited this time before filing this report, the reason will be obvious, as you read.

This firm starts out like your best buddies, and, until the furniture is in their possession, they remain as such.

When one foreman and five helpers came to my apartment in New Jersey to move our belongings to Florida, all went downhill.

First, the foreman immediately, in our apartment, broke a 48" round glass dining room table top, for which he immediately signed a receipt stating that it would be replaced when the furniture is delivered to our home in Florida. That was four months ago, I am still waiting and not holding my breath.

The furniture was loaded and I was advised that the cost had jumped from a "GUARANTEED", in writing figure, from $2725 to $3570, and that the difference would have to be paid when the furniture arrived.

Afterwards, I discovered some personal articles were missing (stolen) and I reported this to the office, was advised they would look into it. Never heard about it again.

THREE WEEKS LATER, I was still waiting for my delivery, and when the furniture arrived, I was told I would have to pay for it, in certified or bank checks, before unloading, which I did, including the extra charges, which I put into a separate check. They still would not unload until the controller of the company got word from the bank that the checks were good.

When the furniture was unloaded, my dining room set was severely damaged and there was a crated table top. I had the foresight to open the crate while the mover was there and found the broken top from New Jersey, told the driver to get it out of here, called the office, was told I would have the new one in two weeks; yeahhhhh, right.

Their literature says, and I quote, Our moving staff is experienced, uniformed and fully trained professionals. Truth, the moving staff dresses like slobs, are thieves, cannot communicate (they do not speak English), are amateurs and are trained for something, maybe, but not moving.

Now, the good news. When all this happened, and after the delivery was done, I went to my bank, explained the situation, and they actually stopped payment on the third cashiers check, in the amount of $845. Now that three months have elapsed, the funds were returned to my account, and the movers, who have never contacted me, at any time, are still screaming at the bank for doing this.

So, we learn that if your bank wants your business, you can bend them a little, and we also learn that movers don't always hold ALL of the cards. I can only hope that they decide to sue me for the balance, so that I have the opportunity to counter-sue for the whole amount, plus. Can't wait to get in front of a judge with this one.

Lastly, this firm is listed with the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey, which gives you some idea of the Bureau's legitimacy.

Thank you, Rip-Offs, for being there and allowing me to vent my spleen. Hopefully, this will save some other unwitting soul from the nightmares perpetrated by this firm.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
