Hello my average american, I seen an ad on tv that said it could provide a after market warranty on my vehicle is if had 100,000 miles or even 200,000 miles to protect me from costly repairs on older vehicles.
so when i call im told that no insurance is avail for my vehicle with 180k miles.
1st they told me that no policies are avail for my vehicle. then some guy tells me that the attorney general says that they can cover the vehcile. so iv asked to speak to a manager and he says that he cant give me coverage and thats it.
so i asked to speak to some one who can answer some of my questions and show me some basic facts about why the ad says that they can cover me and the hold music says they can cover me.
the staff wouldnt give me any names, or quotes, or anything, they did how ever request my credit card information.
they they made some comment to me about being unemployed and that one day the checks will stop. and i will be forced to find a job.
so no im being discriminated against?

If that wasn't a shill I don't know what one is.
Sounds like another case of false advertising to me.
Also, public assistance keeps you from getting knocked in the head.

Really?

Really? Is anyone going to take advice from someone who has ZERO concept of grammar and the English language? Seriously, go back to school or something!
About the complaint... let me get this straight... you are mad because this company wouldn't sell you a warranty on a car with 180 thousand miles on it? What year was it? I have numerous friends who work for US Auto Protection and I know how this works, first you go through a quick screening process where they ask about your car and driving habits to see if they can get you qualified. Obviously they couldn't if no plans were available because you have OneHundredAndEightyTHOUSAND Miles on it! Plus they usually can't cover older cars or specialty cars so depending on the year make and model of your car, that also plays a factor.
Now, you're saying they asked for credit card information? WRONG. They had nothing to sell you! All of their calls are monitored and recorded for security purposes. Literally! The managers have a headset where he listens to calls all day plus there's a lady who does quality assurance checks daily to prevent occurrences like that, and if it did happen I can guarantee that person would be fired. They have a zero tolerance. I also guarantee that a person who was able to obtain a job at US Auto Protection would not be dumb enough to ask for credit card information from someone who cannot speak properly and doesn't have a job (a credit card is just a piece of plastic when you're broke)
Now they may have advised that you should get a job so you could support yourself and your family ( I'm assuming you're like so many other people who think their jobs are just to procreate and live off of welfare and hard earned taxpayers dollars. Yes, thanks for being equivalent to a pond scum fungus in my book.) I am so tired of working hard for my paycheck to give up literally a quarter of it to give to the lazy illiterate people such as yourself so that you can stay at home and have sex to make ten kids at home that I am now supporting. You're welcome. As I take a step down from my soap box, I will say this... commercials are only long enough to try to pique someone's interest to get them to call or go online to LEARN more! If you had been willing to LISTEN with an open mind maybe you would have better understood what the people were trying to tell you and you wouldn't have had to use up the last of your brain power to write that humorously bogus complaint. Not to mention I'm sure you caused a big commotion on the phone and wasted WAY too much of their time on the phone that could have been used to actually help someone who could be helped.
My advice to you... go back to school, get a job, stop living off of my tax dollars and earn your own, pay your taxes, take anger management classes get a newer car with less miles on it, and when you learn to open your ears and your mind... call US Auto Protection back and let them help you protect your car... but please only if you change your attitude first so they don't have to deal with yet another idiot that day.
