US Credit Management is simply taking your money for as long as they can survive before they're sued by hundreds, maybe thousands of clients that they have ripped off for at least the last 9 months. STOP PAYING THEM NOW.
One of the owners has already moved his family out of the country, with our money I'm sure. He's drawing interest for himself off our money and he'll continue until the State of Texas or the Federal Govt brings charges against him. This company has gone from over 100 employees to less than 10 over the last 6 months. That's why you're not getting a return call... There's no one there to call you!
I've paid this company $8,000 over the past eight months and through the 1st seven months, not one credit card company nor I had received a phone call from USCM.
I called to find out why they didn't settle with one CC company which was offering a 65% discount settlement. They told me they hadn't received the settlement letter that I was supposed to send in. I HAD A CERTIFIED RECEIPT THAT THEY HAD SIGNED FOR WEEKS EARLIER. They let a 65% discount offer go to collection without ever making a call to the credit card company!
After leaving at least 25 messages on their voice mail system, someone finally called me back. Upon letting this gentleman know how I felt, he replied "I don't have to take this kind of abuse and can end this conversation now". And then he hung up.
I left 20 more messages and another person finally called me back. I gave her all the details of the settlement offer and she passed it on to their "negotiation department". Their answer back to me was "The collection agency won't talk to us, you'll have to work out the deal yourself".
To make a long story short, I had 5 credit cards go to collection before USCM ever made a call. And... they still wouldn't have made a call if it wasn't for me pleading with them to do what they said they would in the beginning.
Needless to say, I canceled my account with USCM and demanded all $8,000 back since they had done absolutely nothing so far. They said that I would have to sign a cancellation notice. The cancellation notice is really an agreement that you'll accept the "escrow" amount in your account, $2,895 for me (they keep $5,100 for doing nothing) and that you will not sue them for any additional money later. They also take no less than 30 days to give your money back. It's now been 30 days and I'm still waiting.
I signed the agreement, thinking $2,895 is better than 0 of $8000. After signing this document I got the best and most timely responses from everyone at USCM. They were returning my phone calls within 10 minutes and answering my e-mails almost as if we were chatting online. So after you sign that document and give them thousands of your dollars for causing you tons of heartache, you'll realize that they really are "still in business".
I wrote as one of the 12 reasons for canceling was I had been denied speaking with a manager after asking 4-5 times to customer service reps. The very next morning I got that call from the manager of USCM. He seemed very nice and acted as if he wanted to help get ALL of my money back. He even said he'd put me in contact with one of the owners to try to work something out. That was 30 days ago and I've yet to hear from an owner and that manager has not returned 3 of my messages left on his v-mail.
PEOPLE.... THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCAMS AND CRIMES OF ALL TIME! GET OUT NOW! GET WHAT $$$ YOU CAN AND PUT THIS NIGHTMARE BEHIND YOU! MOVE ON! YOU'RE BETTER THAN THESE THEIVES!
