U.S. Office & Industrial Supply I'm sure it was just a mistake... Canoga Park California

I get a call from a lady that works for US Office & Industrial Supply back on 1/29/08. She informs me that they had a special going on stretch wrap. I asked her questions on the product since the price was very attractive at $39 a box (4 rolls in each box). She couldn't answer all the questions and she had me talk to her "supervisor". He told me that the "heavy duty" wrap was on a 18" roll, 1500 ft per roll, and it was .90 guage. The stuff that I'm using now is supposed to be .70 guage and I was told that the .90 guage was thicker than what I'm using now. I told them that I would check with my local supplier and see if they could match the price. Which I did, and the deal was "too good to be true" as I was getting quoted about $70/box to get the same product. So a couple of days later, the same lady calls me back and gives me the sales pitch again, I ask to talk with their supervisor, same guy again, I get the pitch and told how heavy duty this stuff was, etc. I again confirm the price at $39/box and free freight. I told him that I would try 2 boxes. A couple of days later, I get the boxes, open them up, the supposed .90 guage wrap was THINNER than the stuff that I was currently using and was very easy to tear. Not a problem, I call them and talk to a lady named Laurie and she arranges for a return tag and she arranges for the shipping. The next day I get my invoice from the company, $119.99 per box and $42.92 for the freight, total of $282.90. WOW!!! Nice upcharge... I called back and that's when I got the "I'm sure that it must have been a mistake" answer. How the hell could it have been a mistake??? I told them that this appears to be consumer fraud and I was glad that I got my credit back for the returned merchandise. I also asked that my phone number be removed from thier call list. Don't do business with these people unless you have prior experience...
