I work for a personal injury firm and it's common practice in our industry to reduce medical bills for accident victims.

USCB is one of the worst agencies at reducing exorbiant medicals bills on behalf of the injured party.  USCB will typically take several months to a year before even responding to a request for reductions.

USCB has also been known to cancel charitable write offs for low/no income patients who receive third party settlements regardless of the amount of the settlement.  That is to say that if a client has medical bills exceeding six figures and receives a net settlement of $2500, any write offs can be rescinded and they will attempt to collect the full balance from the injured party.

USCB also has sketchy contact information and seems to only be ran by two individuals.  One of which, Sue Plat, is a very rude, inefficient, and incapable individual.
