Sorry to say...

Sorry to say this but this is the dangers of ONLINE shopping. You THINK its cheaper but in the long run it isnt. A prime example of passing the buck on ALL parties involved. You say it was USPS, USPS says its the seller, the seller blames either you or USPS. A endless circle that can only be broken with PROOF!! The seller needs to PROVE that the TV was not in that condition when it was shipped, YOU need to prove that it was. USPS only needs to prove that the package was shipped from point A to point B.

What I have found that works is two things. One....when ever you are purchasing a item online, have the seller take a video of the product AS IT IS BEING PACKAGED, this way you have PROOF on the sellers end and its easy enough to attach a video to a email. This way there is a time/date stamp on the email and the video recording. Second...Take a video of the buyer opening the package starting with the tracking label. This way you have a two part record sending and receiving video you show as PROOF. Otherwise you are expecting both the seller and USPS to either admit fault and/or pay for damages.
