2004 Truck: under warranty and my only working vehicle.

I purchased a brand new, 2004 F150 4x4 truck that cause vibration after 30 miles per hour. I have taking it for same service continuously and still the problem is not fixed. I am paying to much money for a truck that is defected.

I have been rejected for refund. The company insists that my money cannot be returned because it is not a hazardous defect. However, after 30 miles per hour it shakes. I have submitted a written complaint to the Ford Company, called and complained, but still have no answer from them.

My concerns, needs and satisfactory have been rejected and avoided. The sales representative at Mid Valley Ford in Mercedes is not taking my calls; he is avoiding the problem and any contact with me. At one time, while my truck had been serviced, Mid Valley Ford even failed to issue me a car rental.

This problem has created emotional distress and humiliation. The service representative at Van Burkleo in McAllen insisted I take the truck no matter the circumstances. I pleaded to have the problem fixed because I was concerned about the safety and life of my wife, myself and my children. He responded by stating that if something happens, then I would be rich and would take over ownership of the whole Ford Motor Company. His humiliating remarks were uncalled for.

The truck has been in service for about 80% of the time I have owned it. And still no solution to the problem. In fact, considering that the truck is still under warranty, I was so upset to have been billed for some service they thought was causing the problem.

Customer Service and Product are pitiable. I am sick to my stomach calling and complaining. It has created a lot of headaches, pain and anguish to me, my family and work. As of today, September 13, 2004, my truck is being serviced with no hope of having the problem fixed.

This is fraud! I have been ripped-off, avoided, scammed, mislead, lied, deceived, ignored, humiliate and experiencing too much emotional distress over a truck I hardly use and continue paying for. I don't think its right to have been treated so unfair. I fear that the defect truck may cause injury to me, my family or anyone on the streets. Justice needs to prevail.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

Info your Ford dealer would never give you Leonel!

AUTHOR: Stick - Rip-off Report Consumer Advocate. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, September 13, 2004

Leonel do you feel your Ford dealer is no help? I will help you. Below is contact info of people that work at Ford Motor Corp. Make sure they all get to read your Rip Off Report.

Tell them how you feel about your local Ford Dealer. Ask them at Ford to look into this car dealer's RDR Cards. They will know what I am talking about. Ask them also to look at what was written on the RDR card they got from your dealer when you bought your truck.

Little by little car dealers are learning the hard way as to how to treat car buyers. Shame they don't go a bit farther at helping you. Many only want to act like they are trying to help you AFTER they find that they have made the Rip Off Report.

Here is the contact info, use it all to your advantage my Friend. Spend the money and call these people up and tell them your troubles, see what kind of action you get. Tell them about your Rip Off Report. Let them know that about 8,000,000 people a day are watching to see what happens.

Trust me Leonel your dealer would never give you the above info. I just can't understand why none of these people have their contact info posted on any of Ford's web sites. Maybe They don't want to deal with car Buyer's troubles!

Leonel you can thank The Great Thorn a fellow Rip Off Report Advocate for the above contact info. He posted a few years ago.

I have always have wanted to know why car manufactures don't have more HELPFUL people to help the American car buyers with their dealer troubles. Maybe they don't care. Who knows!

Leonel I have a question for you. If your truck has a mechanical defect and your truck comes apart while you are driving down the highway and you kill some one Who can you take to court for NOT solving your problem?

Are the tires that are on the truck factory installed or are they dealer installed as a option? Who did the first PDI Inspection on your truck before the dealer put it on the lot for sale?

Tires Maybe?

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, September 13, 2004

Wife's son had similar problems with his F-150. They finally sent his truck to a local tire co. who "shaved" whatever that means, the sidewall of one of the back rear tires and solved the problem. They had tried new tires, which hadn't corrected the vibration.
