Like many others on the site I too feel like Verizon's accounting of how much data you use is definitely off somewhere especially since they've moved to these few sizes don't fit all plans.
I lost my unlimited data when I needed an emergency upgrade on one of my lines (6 in total). So I conservatively set my data at 10gb and figure I could adjust up and down as necessary. For awhile things were good we discontinued use on 2 of the lines so that left 4 smart phones active. Then with this last set of plans (xs, s, m, l, xl) everything went off the rails. Suddenly lines that averaged 1-2 gbs were now ranging anywhere btw 8-10 gbs. Also, I have noticed that when I call on the night of my bill cut off date to adjust my plan, they'll tell me okay you are x amount over and I will move my plan as needed to cover the overage but then when I get my bill I find multiple overages (at $15 a gb) and am told oh those hadn't been fully calculated yet by our system before your bill was cut.
So I supposedly used the data during the bill cycle but it wasn't calculated so you couldn't give me the correct overage number so I could take appropriate action to avoid paying an overage and instead of carrying over the data (like they once did to the next month) you are going to charge me extra $$$$
Needless to say I've taken my phones elsewhere and have a 1900.00 balance that I will have to pay off eventually.
