i am outraged at the veterans administration for taking away my disability benifits. i am a 100% percent disabled service connected navy veteran. i was on disibility for four years, then i get a letter in the mail stateing that they had found out that i was a fugitive felon and that they were going to take away my lisa murkowskidisability untill i got the warrent taken care of then they would take away my benifits. they took away my benifits i lost everything i had including a good credit score. i had no money and no wher to go so i went into the va domicilery where i spent 9 months working with the authorites in idaho, to get my warrent quashed. i got my warrent quashed and got my disability reinstated . three months later they take away my disability again stating that i owe them back pay , back too sept 2004. they sent me a letter stateing that i owed them back pay for having a warrent, and that they wernt supposed to have paid me this money while i was a fugitive felon. they clam that i didnt notify them that i was a fugitive fellon, when i had. i even got proof that i had reported it to social security and the va, but then they start this different enity bullshit. i had a state senator from alaska lisa murkowskiwrite the va a letter and the only reply i -got was that they looked into it and that i had failed to respond in time, or by certain dates, all a bunch of lies and prefabracated stories is all i have received from the va. now i am sitting here unable to work, and without any income, with a bunch of letters from people who dont belong working for the va. i am sick of fighting them for what is rightfully mine. the last letter i got was from someone i have never heard of before. if one pwerson cant handle it they pass it of to another. i thought that the va was set up to help veterans, so far all i hAVE seen is them treating us like second hand citizens. i worked for the government, i know about the lies and corruption. the va is becoming one of the most corrupt branches of the government. it is all about job justification everyone is afraid to stick their necks out to halp a veteran, it might jepardise ther job. it has all turned in to political bulls**t.
