I'm currently a student studying in Singapore. After looking extensively for sound clips I could use in a project, I was brought to VideoBlocks.com, which offered a FREE 7-day trial on the premise that I provided my credentials and payment information just in case I wanted to subscribe after.

I downloaded one single clip from the website on the day I signed up (20/11/13) and didn't use the account again for the remainder of the free trial. However, after checking my bank account, I was billed SGD$101 (USD$79) for a month of subscription. Had I not realised, they would have continued to bill me for the rest of the following months.

I've sent emails to their provided support email and their head of Customer Services but haven't managed to get a reply. As a 19 year-old student without a steady income, this amount of money really means a lot to me and I really hope I could get a refund. I've searched videoblocks on ripoff report and I've seen most of the people getting their money refunded after posting here, so I hope their head of customer services sees this and grants me my request

if you hit up a search on videoblocks on this site, I'm pretty sure you'll find cases very much similar to mine and they've all been properly reimbursed because missing the fine print on an internet agreement is a extremely common occurrence. take your trolling somewhere else because I'm really not interested in talking to someone that can't help, Ken.

 Free  Trials and Other Promotions. Any free trial or other promotion that  provides Registered User level access to the Services must be used within the  specified time of the trial. You will be asked for valid credit card  information when you sign up for the free trial. We will use the payment  information for future subscription fees should you fail to terminate the trial  subscription within the timeframe provided by Footage Firm. We will start your  7-day free trial upon completion of your trial signup. You may cancel your  trial subscription without charge at any time within 7 days of placing your  order. If you do not cancel your free trial subscription within 7 days of  the date you start your trial, your subscription will continue automatically  and the monthly fee will be billed to the credit card or other billing source  provided by you when you signed up for the trial, on the first day of each  successive subscription term. Such billing will occur without further notice to  you. Should you choose to discontinue your subscription for any reason  before expiration of the then applicable subscription term or the trial period,  you may cancel your subscription and terminate future billing by calling  866-282-5360 . You must cancel your  subscription before the end of the trial period in order to avoid being charged  a subscription fee. If you cancel prior to the end of the trial period and  are inadvertently charged for a subscription, please contact Footage Firm to  have the charges reversed.

On the order form is a block you HAVE TO CHECK that states you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and a link to take you to such Terms and Conditions.  Guess you somehow agreed to the terms without having actually reading them....right?
