Villiage Squire apartments is a rip off. They are charging me $100 more for rent while I've been here for 10 years and my neighbors that have been here for 2 they are being charged less and Heartman & Tyner Inc, will not reduce my rent. Is this anyway to treat a rentor that has been paying rent for over 10 years? I might as well buy a mobile home and my rent will be half of what it is. They will not accept any rent reduction applications either.
If you plan on renting with Villiage Squire apartments DONT!

The rebuttal by them claiming they contacted me and worked something out is totally a big lie but I expect that. Nobody has ever contacted me because this complaint was anonymus. They did not try and work anything out, they have not reduced my rent to at least what the others are paying, they don't even know who posted this complaint so how can they claim this.
If you are looking for a cheaper apartment, then the landings in Westland are charging $60 less ($535) a month then Villiage Squire and they are nicer.
My advice if you are a first time rentor is to buy a Mobile Home for around 20k and pay $2-300 a month for lot rent. This way you can sell it when you're ready to move into your first home. You can get a nice 3 bedroom mobile home for 15-20k with updated amenities and rent out one of the bedrooms to someone for say $300 a month which would pay your lot rent.
Don't make the mistake I did and give your money away for 10 years to someone else.
