Got a offer with the ability to get American Airline miles by joining Vinesse Wine Cellars Club.  I thought this would be a great opportunity.  I signed on after reading all the fine print and I thought I was going to be okay.  Surprise! What a horrible experience.

It stated that the first shippment would be sent within 10 day.  It's been 21 days and have yet to see it. My credit card was charged and no surcharge was attached to that shipment.

My second shipment went from the introductory offer of $41 to 70 something (3 bottles) and it was shown to be shipped 12 days ago and I have yet to see that one as well.  Can't say for sure if a surcharge was charged to that one. No invoice is ever generated which I dislike.

A third shipment was charged in the amount of $130!  (6 bottles)  Shown to be shipped but it's only been in transit for three days so far.  But this shipment incurred a surcharge.  I asked why so much and they told me this was why plus the $23 shipping charge.  On there website Texas is one that Does Not charge a surcharge.  I just don't understand how they can do that.

Best part....... When I called on Monday this week I asked where my introductory offer of 6 bottles were that took 10 days.  They told me since I was in Texas they are starting to using refrigerated trucks.  Okay.  That was 21 days ago.  Do they move slower than non refrigerated trucks?  The representative told me that my shipment would be here later this week.  Well no wine on Friday.  I called again and this representative told me that shipments were delayed due to the hurricane.  Texas nor California had a hurricane!  Sorry, but your shipment will be delivered by next week.

I think they may have a cheat sheet by their phones with 101 excuses to offer customers. I have cancelled my membership and notified our credit card company to decline charges made by Vinesse. It will be interesting to see when and how my wine will be delivered.  Bets are no refridgerated trucks.  I'll keep you posted.

Just a FYI.......Bad customer service and this for sure is a rip off.
